So far away. I'm so excited to see this. I know these songs likely will not stand up beside the original soundtrack, but I hope they are well-done at least. All the songs sound like great moments, particularly "Forevermore." I'm glad Audra sings at the beginning, too. I imagine it'll be a scene where the Beast is terrorizing the servants and ordering her to sing (and she's probably terrified while she's performing) only for them to be interrupted by the Enchantress at the door.

The Entertainment Weekly article gives a few more details about the songs. It seems Disney considers "Days in the Sun" the best of the new songs, and I guess it's probably the song they will submit for the Oscars next year.
The third new song is called “Days in the Sun” and, according to Beauty and the Beast producer David Hoberman, is a very special number indeed. When EW visited the film’s London set last year, Hoberman told us he believed the song is destined to win Menken a ninth Academy Award to go with the eight he already has for his work on The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and the animated Beauty and the Beast.

By the way, why the Audra McDonald number is not counted among the new songs? Will she sing a song that already exists?

I'm so glad Audra McDonald will get her own song. I was afraid her talent would be wasted in the movie otherwise.

If you take it literally, yes , that's been debunked, but it still works as an analogy to how people's minds tend to work. I still find it very much applies to most people. Me for example, I like to draw but am terrible at math. The people I know that are good at it have little to no interest in art.
Yes, you defended your still great point well,
Kyle.
I noticed the painting of Gaston possibly being a war hero before. It also connects to that concept art where he was in armor. I think it is a nice addition to his character and why everyone loves him. I also find him quite handsome enough to be Gaston.
blackcauldron, those probably are the silly girls, good find!
The song that sounds like it will have most resonance to me is "For Evermore". Sounds really heart-touching.

Well, I liked to draw
and had perfect grades in Math. Just say you don't like the story choice and move on instead of trying to find some lie to justify your opinions as somehow more right than everyone else's.

You must stop being cold, cruel, and saying things about others that aren't true. I will, however, think it's possible Belle could love to read and invent.

Not true? You’re using a MYTH as reason to act your opinion is right and everyone else’s is wrong. A myth is a lie, in case that's new information. And while we’re issuing personal judgments, you must stop being arrogant, snobby, and condescending.

Looking at the EW article makes me very happy with the effort that went into this and nice to know that Audra will have a song to sing in the movie.

I have no idea if it's a lie. Kyle explained it may be true even if not literally. What you're saying about me is not true but inferred by you. You think things of me that I'm not quite sure why you think them. You have also assumed bad things of people in the past that later you found were untrue. I suspect your life is not rosy and that is why you assume bad things of people? If so, I'm sorry. You don't deserve such bad things to happen to you. But we differ in opinions, and we debate, and sometimes I find things I said to be right. It's not anymore than that. You don't even have to agree that I'm right about things, as you clearly haven't about many things. You just don't have to be mean about it.

If it’s not true literally...it’s not true at all.

Follow your own advice about assuming things of other people and trying not to be mean yourself for a change, and then acting like a victim afterwards. Anyway, don't expect another response from me although I'm sure you'll wring out some more sympathy for yourself; I know the best advice is generally not to respond to you at all, sorry I forgot myself this time.

WOW! That is one gorgeous poster! Reminds me a little of the John Alvin poster from the original animated film.

I completely agree with everything you said!
However, I have a problem with it. It is just this image below, changed a little with the Beast's head being different and the right dress added:

I agree, the poster does look like the original one, done by John Alvin. I love it! I can't wait to see the trailer, whenever it comes.

I think it will be in the next few days/weeks.

I love the styling of the new poster for sure, and the homage to the original is just lovely.
I like how they are desperately trying to glam up the new dress in the poster after all the complaints

The hair is just really bothering me too, from the stills. Just seems
so simple ?

It's perfect! Emma Watson is gorgeous and the Beast looks better than in any promotional artwork I have seen so far!
