Both hilarious and weird. I love British humor and those two movies are comedic gold and Simon Pegg is genius. If you don't mind fake-gore go watch those two.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - Love the cinematography, and this is one of Rowling's better years in terms of plot. It sucks that the movie cut out so much but in spite of that the film manages to delivers the goods without the extra side stories.

Troy - Much better on second viewing. This time I really appreciated it for what it is, a decent war epic. The acting and script have issues, but nonetheless this is a worthy epic, only lesser than the masterpieces such as Gladiator.

King Kong (2005) - While much too long, this is one of my favorites of 2005. The end is so moving, and the adventure in getting there is exhilarating! Jack Black annoys the hell outta me but the rest of the cast more than make up for his presence.

I watched While You Were Sleeping last night. I had wanted to watch that film ever since it was on the Sneak Previews show back when it first came out (in 1996, I believe). It was well worth the wait! It's a really nice story, and Sandra Bullock is a delight!

The Princess Bride - I read the book last week and I thought it was a good time to revisit the film. Which is more fantastic after reading the book. Having the guy who wrote the book write the screenplay should be a no brainer if you want the movie to approach the book.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall - Funny.

Wall·E - FANTASTIC.

I just finished watching Because I Said So. It was really good- it was funny and sweet. Mandy Moore & Diane Keaton were very excellent!

Yeah, you're thinking about Knocked Up. Sarah Marshall was hilarious though.

I saw Twilight yesterday. I can't decide whether it was good or bad, but I loved it either way! I really could go see it again. Right now I'm watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix, I'm too excited for Half Blood Prince.

Well, for the third time, I watched The Strangers with some friends. Let me tell you, it gets scarier every time!

I just saw the documentary Hollywood Singing & Dancing: A Musical History hosted by Shirley Jones. Fabulous! Covered from Busby Berkeley through Hairspray in 1hour and 49 minutes!

Batman Begins - It was better than I thought it would be, though I thought the whole back story could have been shortened.

I watched Grease earlier today. Wonderful as always! Then I watched most of How To Deal, but the DVD wouldn't play past a certain point, and I didn't want to flip it over to play the fullscreen version (it's one of those double-sided DVDs)...I have to return it to FYE...but I love that movie, and it's always wonderful.

Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day - Overall, it was just average. I loved Frances McDormand, and Amy Adams was pretty good, as was Lee Pace. I'd rank it at 6.5/10.

Marie Antoinette - The Kirsten Dunst version. I liked it! I actually didn't find it slow at all, as I do with most period films.

Sons of Mistletoe - Pretty good! I didn't realize that Howard was Sam from Life With Derek until the end!

The Christmas List - I really liked this one! The boy kind of annoyed me, though.

Holiday in Handcuffs - I loved it! Even more than I did last year.

Snowglobe - This was...not so good. The acting was pretty bland, and some of the "funny" parts made me cringe.

Not a movie but I just watched episodes 8 9 & 10 of Freaks & Geeks and I can't believe a 13 year old Shia LeBeouf played the Norseman mascot! He was funny!

I'm still going through the movies I recently bought to make sure they all work. I just finished watching Serendipity. It's one of my absolutely favorite movies. I just love the story. Great as always.

I just finished watching A Walk to Remember. Also one of my absolutely favorite movies.

I just watched Titanic. It took forever, but I absolutely adore that movie. It's very worth the puffy eyes afterward.

Bolt - Finally, a Disney animated feature with charm. It's been far too long (since Brother Bear to be precise), I feel, since Disney last charmed us on the big screen with lovable characters and a solid story.
While it often felt like I was watching a retread and mix of so many other different movies (animated and non) I still managed to really enjoy myself. I LOVED the humor and the characters were terrific. Besides, you must be made of stone to not feel the tiniest bit of mushy cuteness running through you during that first introductory scene. This one gets a solid 7.5/10 from me.

EDIT: Changeling - Intense is all I can say at the moment. I'm no fanboy of Clint but I admire him for this film. And Angelina Jolie, wow. I KNEW she had it in her. 9.5/10
