In the middle of "Beyond My Wildest Dreams," Carlotta says "Now, now, in just two short nights, the Prince will hold his contest. The young ladies will be singing themselves silly all to win his heart. But tonight....(something, something, something)."
What did Carlotta say?
In the song itself, or dialogue within the song?
I saw the show, but I'm not sure.
I know in the song, Carlotta says "Hush now girls she's simply shy."

In the dialogue within the song. I haven't seen the show, but the thing I'm talking about is on youtube.

I think it's "Tonight, he'll savor some quiet."

I will send the songs

About what Carlotta said (and the "Hush girls" was the maids) something like "tonight,he"ll pick a bride" (i think),thought she doesn't say anything in the CD.

Just letting you know that the news page was updated on The Little Mermaid Broadway website.
They added the news about the Playbillradio re-broadcast of the Virtual Opening Night (mentioned before in this topic) as well as a chance to have the cast sign your copy of the cast recording!
"On Tuesday, February 26, Walt Disney Records will release the original Broadway cast recording of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID. In celebration, there will be a cast performance and CD signing at World of Disney, 711 5th Avenue at 55th Street in New York City, on Tuesday, February 26 at 4pm.
Stars Sierra Boggess (Ariel) and Tituss Burgess (Sebastian) will perform "Part of Your World" and the Academy Award®-winning "Under the Sea." Following the performance, attendees are invited to join Sierra, Tituss, Sherie Rene Scott and other members of the cast who will sign copies of the cast recording. This event is open to the public."
I'm going to see if I can go.

Yeah, I've just preordered my copy of the cast recording, too. Too bad it'll probably have that sound that everyone's talking about (in "PoTW").

Hi. I am new here and just wanted to say that I have a version of POYWReprise where the "skip" is not present. If you can send me some good scans of the entire lyrics booklet for TLM, I will post a link to the song.

Poody-i sent you all the songs.
Here's new clips:
Ursula's Incantation:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFc76K3doUI
Wow,it's amazing

the transformation was incredible

(espically when she "swims" to the surface,it's actually looks like she's underwater, even i saw something like bubbles

).
One Step Closer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9NE-WNxZis
(They're showing a lot in the pink dress for the new Princess merchandise?).
Montage of a few clips:

Another one:

Why do they made Adella fat again? it's not a bad thing but only in the series and the sequel she's fat,in the movie and the merchandise she's skinny (in some epsiodes she was skinny),and i think the series showed her sisters in a bad light.
I"m glad Ariel kills Ursula

.
It's silly that Eric shows up with his ship in the bottom of the ocean

,did he drowned it? XD and can he breath underwater that he talks with Ursula? XD,what happend to Ariel's dress? (it's ripped),and why Ursula sounds like a 5 years old girl? ("You stupid, why you love her? she's a mermaid" and the childish tone she's saying "She's a mermaid").
Why is Ariel holding a suitecase? XD.
And the sisters doesn't look like the sisters at all, casting black girl is a wonderful idea

but Andrina looks like Aquata.

Can anyone tell me how well "The Little Mermaid" is doing so far? Is it doing well, mediocre, not well? I would really love to see the show, but I know it will all depend on how well it does, because I probably won't make it to Broadway to see the show anytime soon. Is it following in the success of "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Lion King"?

Anytime
atlanticaunderthesea.
Simba3 - It all depends. It's sold out for months now (until May at least) and it's been getting its fair share of both good and bad reviews. I would definitely say go see it (having seen it twice and being absolutely in love with it) but it's fantastic in its own ways. Lion King makes you appreciate the whole tech (lights, sounds) aspect as well as costumes and set. Beauty and the Beast transferred wonderfully as well. I think Little Mermaid is closer to BatB in that aspect; it's the story transferred over and not as in depth as Lion King. Lion King went to its African roots, so it went beyond the movie in a sense.
I firmly believe that you should see it if you get the chance, even if it were doing poorly critic-wise.
Check out the videos that
Ariel'sprince posted to get an idea of what to expect.
Have you seen Lion King and BatB? It'll be easier to compare if you did.
I'm stoked because in the second video montage, they show
She's in Love (my favorite song from the show, sung by Flounder) and Cody Hanford (whom I refer to as my son for the simple fact that if I had a son, it would be him XD) plays Flounder!

Yes, I've seen "The Lion King" on tour, twice. I also saw "Beauty and the Beast" at a small town theater, but it was very well done.
