I enjoyed this episode for the most part, although it felt like there was very little of the main characters and mostly Regina-centric.

The Witch's backstory moved way too fast for me, so I was underwhelmed by that part. It might just be that the actress isn't as good as I wish (although she's okay). I wonder whose brain the Witch'll want, since she got Charming's bravery and is looking for Regina's heart now? Or does Rumpel count as her brain? Sounds like she wants to go back in time to when Regina was born or maybe just when she was still being taught by Rumpel. Maybe she wants to meet Cora face-to-face.

Tinker Bell looked very pretty this episode. And I love Rumpelstiltskin's make-up in the past; he looked just like a lizard to me.

EDIT: Sorry if I spoiled anybody who didn't want to be spoiled; accidentally forgot the first spoiler bar.

I got interested in the show starting the new Wicked Witch plotline and it's a really good show with interesting characters, good production values for TV, mostly well written episodes and a very good bunch of well cast actors. Zelina's actress is good but I know they're better actresses out there, and I am really liking her history with Rumpelstiltskin and (partally) Regina.

Now I want to know what happens next week! :D

Despite the horrible promos, I really liked this episode and have to say that I really loved getting to see Oz. Also, was anyone surprised to learn that Walsh was The Wizard and it's clear that those events took place before Dorothy went to Oz but I still hope they show how they work and Glinda into the story. And also, when The Wizard referred to himself as The Great and Terrible, I expected him to say The Great and Powerful. I was thinking of the Oz: The Great and Powerful. Great movie. Really loved Oz and I don't think we will be done with the land of Oz, this season.

You know, after looking up the ratings and realizing there are only 5 more episodes this season, I understand now why they're moving the plot so fast. :o (Well, technically, there're 6 more eps, but the last 2 air back-to-back as the finale.) I wonder what their long-term plan for Zelena is--will she wiped away at the end of her arc just like Cora and Peter Pan or will she be absorbed into the main group somehow? I wonder if the Zelena fight will extend into season 4 or not?

I really liked the last episode! I liked that it had the magic slippers! Except couldn't they have made them red, and still not get sued by MGM? I know silver is the original book's color, but I would think the ruby ones are just so popular they would have wanted to make them that color. And since the Wizard had them, I wonder why he let someone else use them and not try to get them back. I mean, they're super powerful and he wanted to keep magical items. I would think just their power alone would make someone want to keep them.

Who's Walsh?

Walsh/the Wizardwas the guy Emma was dating in New York before her memories were restored. The guy who played Henry from Ugly Betty.

Thank you. But this raises a loooot of questions now, doesn't it? Like did Zelena know Emma was the savior, living in New York, and send her flying monkey disguised as Walsh there? If so, was Walsh always just a disguised flying monkey, who is really the wizard?

I enjoyed last night's episode, probably because we got to see Ariel again. The flashback story was boring, but everything in the present was entertaining, particularly the Regina/Emma scenes. I loved the twist at the end, actually didn't expect that.

I liked last night's episode too and I actually enjoyed the flashback more than the Storybrooke stuff. Also, is it just me or did Blackbeard's outfit remind anyone of Dustin Hoffman in Hook?

May I just say how much I love Zelena's characterization in this. So delightfully sadistic that it feels like she belongs in a Disney animated film. :D

I thought some of you might like this, a countdown on 7 reasons why Wonderland was better than Once. I didn't write this and I don't agree with all the points but it's an interesting read.

Now that would be crazy cool, to have the voice actors from Frozen in Once ! They should totally jump on that!!

Also, I've always wondered if they would include Princess cameos like they did in Enchanted for Jodi & co …. that would be lovely.

Very good episode tonight. I love the Regina-Snow relationship right now. I also that they're addressing all the things Regina has done to these people (re: Belle's why the hell would I help you? speech  ). I'm guessing we'll eventually get a flashback learning why Snow White's mother, Eva, changed for the better. I remember discussing that point last year or the year before with Sotiris and somebody else. Also, I'm guessing that in the past year that nobody remembers, Glinda did a babyswitch so Aurora is carrying Snow's baby and Snow is carrying hers, so that Zelena can't complete her spell when Snow gives birth. Now I'm just wondering why she couldn't just use her silver slippers to find Aurora in a minute's time.

This is the first episode I've really liked the Witch. I liked how casual she was this episode, where her dialogue/expressions was a little overdramatic in previous episodes.

I either forgot about that myself or didn't realize that even happened. What episode was this explained so I can go back and re-watch it.

I got too caught up in the moment of it being an awesome episode. That's My Excuse :shifty:

EDIT:

Last night's ratings were the lowest ever for the show. However as the link notes it's probably due to it being aired on Easter Sunday and all.
