- Your Austin Powers DVDs look very funny; the French title is upside-down!
I'm also Canadian and to answer you questions about Harry Potter, yes it is called "Philosopher's Stone" as it is everywhere but the US (still never understood why they changed to title for the US). And also, it is only in English or French.

As with the Austin Powers covers, most of my DVDs with billingual covers have the french on the spine written like that. I think the Paramount ones and the few billingual Fox ones that I have, the two languages are next to each in the same direction on the spine.
Buzz gave the right answers. :P

Finally! Pics of my collection! It's quite far away but you can see more or less everything there. It's missing the odd title (Harry Potter movies are in my brother's room and A Walk to Remeber in my sister's). Anyway, enjoy! :D

As you can see, I'm quite the mess, but my DVDs live safely in order...

Well, this an actualization of mine !!! I have all animated Disney DVD releases, including the Treasures, Classics, Pixar and DTV's. Once I get Fantasia Anthology I'll have them all. I think I have one of the most complete collections!!

The first photo is from all my animated DVD's including non-Disney. The next photos are from the Disney Shelves and the last one from other films.

Most of them. Around 90%. I'm sure my two kids have seen them all.

Edit: stupid double posting!

Ah I had wondered if you had kids that helped to contribute to all of those.

My girl is six and my boy three years old. Their only contribution is on the non-Disney section when they insist on buying movies like Kitty, Barbie, Popeye or Barney. I actually tell my giril about the release dates of Disney DVD's and she remember me to buy them (like I'm not buying them anyway).

But I want to wait till March 7 came and went because HP:GoF and the Ghibli wave are coming out that day. May as well hold off posting a pic till I get those and Lady & the Tramp. I don't normally get that many DVDs around the same time unless it's a Studio Ghibli wave in which case I buy the whole wave at once.

Well, I kinda went on a shopping spree the past few days. I ran around Best Buy, Future Shop, A&B Sound, and Superstore almost three times each just to get some of these; for the cheapest prices, with the slipcovers (something rather difficult to find for Pocahontas).

So, with the addition of Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, Pocahontas, Tarzan and TENG, my total number of Animated Classics on DVD comes to.... 17! That's 49%!!

I'm very proud of my collection so far and hope you all enjoy it as well. (These are only my Animated Classics however; no Treasures or DTVs here)

At most, I might add Pooh if I don't hear of any new SE for his 30th Anniversary by the end of the year. Otherwise, I'm now holding out for only SEs or maybe Blu-Ray versions. I can't wait to add 5 more movies this year (Dumbo, Fox and Hound, TLM, Lilo, and CL). I sure hope an SE for either Hunchback or Hercules will be released soon. Anyways, hope you liked!

I"ll try to get a picture of my own DVD collection up (Disney and non), however the Disney portion isn't really that large since I only really buy 2-(or more)-disc sets with a good amount of bonus material. Plus, I wasn't into DVD collecting back when the Platinum Line started, so they aren't included. I considered going back and getting the older releases off eBay, but by that time the current Platinum releases had diminished in quality to the point where I decided not to bother with it. So, for the moment anyway, my collection is limited mostly to the Treasures, 2-disc CEs (less Tarzan, unfortunately), Vault Disney (only 2, though, as I wasn't fond of the other 2), the Pixar releases (not the UTB, again, unfortunately), the Fantasia Anthology (lucky enough to find it long after it'd gone OOP at a retailer near me, still sealed) and a few other oddball movies that don't belong to any group (Tron, Roger Rabbit, 20000 Leagues)

I've finally got some pictures of my collection up and running.
I just did some reorganizing of them yesterday, so they are kind of divided up weird, right now. I have to cram them into a smaller space because my wife won't let me display them in the living room.

I hope this link works for ya:

yoda_four, if you're keeping in them in order of the film's release, you should switch around The Lion King and Aladdin there. ;)

This is a really fun topic, so I'm bumping it up again.

First, here is my combination TV and Lion King plushie shrine.
Most of those came from Walt Disney World in Orlando, except for the little ones of Kovu, Nuka, and Vitani. Shenzi came from my local Disney Store back when it used to stock good stuff, and I got the brown Simba when I saw the broadway musical. The smaller Nala that's underneath Nuka came from the musuem where I saw TLK in IMAX. The Santa hat Simba came from Kohl's.
