THATS REALLY COOL (by this opportnity i wanna brag that im still a teen (2004) before departing to my 20s ) but anyway glad ur here and Spiderman is also my fav Marvel hero!! I LOVE ATS, So glad Sony has the rights to him, if not, we would probably already have multiple forgettable Disney+ series out of him and maybe even a disney animated SM in the veins of BH6 instead of Sonys masterpieces.
Also regarding Snow White, I LOVE Olivia Rodrigo (obsessed with vampire ) I cant imagine that she was almost cast as SW, glad she wasnt because she would definetly also had gotten hate and it would have affected her music career... this Live Action project feels like a feverdream

This confirms Disney only seriously considered Latina actresses for the role of Snow White like they did with Black actresses for the role of Ariel.

But this cant be real, Olivia is half Filipino and even H.E.R was also in talks to be SnowWhite and shes half Filipino half black so i guess the article is fakeeeeeeeeeeee. But if not maybe i could have been the next Snow White fr im not kidding. Im also half Latino half caucasian and I have white skin which makes people think im just caucasian and I have slightly red lips which made people think I wore lipstick (yikes), so Disney, if u consider doing another SW Remake with a genderbend main character thats my Application

That’s my main gripe with this project, Rachel Zegler hates the role she’s playing. If you want to adapt or remake a pre-existing property, hire and cast someone who loves the source material and doesn’t loathe it like Henry Cavill in The Witcher series on Netflix.

I think Olivia Rodrigo was mentioned as almost getting the role a long time ago. I'm not sure if it was before or after Zegler was officially cast though. At least I remember wishing Rodrigo had got the role, she would've been more interesting.

Snow White is kind, spiritual, hardworking, romantic, gentle, humble and independent. Zegler is nothing like her...

The people that save Snow White in this version are called the Bandits. Jonathan, the male love interest who ISN'T a prince is also a Bandit. The Bandits are like Robin Hood, they steal from the Queen to feed the poor. Snow White herself is an independent, liberal socialist in this version and with The Bandits leads a revolution against the Evil Queen.

Welcome to the forums remboroy25! As much as I really don’t like what the movie will become thanks to set photos and interviews, I will actually be surprised and interested to know who actually liked this movie and why. I don’t have the slightest optimistic view of this movie, but if anyone has one, I will listen and keep an open mind. I even have movies that are either remakes or adaptations that I like but are denounced by most people because they aren’t faithful to the source material—Fantastic Four (2015), for example.

OMG! A reply from the big man himself! Thanks for telling me that though but my point still stands in my last post. It all comes down to how I view the movie myself and if there are people who like this film wholeheartedly, I will be accepting and undertanding of them if they really do.
