Will there be two standard Blu-rays on this set or will they be dropping the second disc in favor of the 3D Blu-ray?

I guess the side-titles are definitely a trend now. Ye gods...

Pre-order's up on Amazon, and it's going to be a 5-disc set. So, the bonus disc WILL be included! =)

The Trilogy Box Set for The Lion King looks awesome.

Anyone thinks they will release a similiar set for Beauty and the Beast?

Hmmmmm... that's a good point, since it's being re-released. I'd buy.

For everyone who bought the original Diamond Edition... are you planning on getting the new combo edition? Just curious, I can't decide myself! =) Thanks!

Although starting with Tangled I'm committing to buying the 3D combo packs, if available (especially since the coupon will most likely be for the largest combo offered), I am not sure if I would re-buy BATB. Disney would have to offer a really, really good coupon or something, and if so, I'd sell my standard Diamond Edition on eBay, to offset the cost of the upgrade.

I read today that in the next few years, almost all HDTV's will come 3D capable, so it really can't hurt to get these 3D combo packs, even if you don't use the 3D copy for years. I'm nowhere near ready to upgrade my HDTV to 3D (it's less than a year old), but I look forward to someday being able to watch these films in 3D in the future.

We could only see the future in 4D. Soupy's gonna have to buy that version of "Beauty and the Beast" in a year from now.

It'd be cool if Disney released 3D Blu-rays (and of course standard Blu-rays and DVDs for those of us who haven't caught up yet) for their retired 3D films that were shown in Disney Parks, like Honey I Shrunk the Audience. That probably warrants its own forum though.
