I just finished watching Lars and the Real Girl. It was interesting and good.

I've done nothing but clean and watch movies all day lol.

Juno - This is the first time i've seen it and I loved it. Also, my hometown Manteno is mentioned in it. The writer was from my area.

20 Years Later- Ugh, total waste of time. Please do yourself a favor and leave it be the DTV is was meant to be.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars- Ok, but not OK. I still have trouble believing this film was EVER a good idea. I can't imagine the new animated series on cartoon network is going to be any better.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall- i was very surprised by how much i enjoyed this film. I recommend it highly.

Iron Man - I've watched this a few times lately, and I end up liking it more each time. It has to be on the list of one of my favorite super hero films. Looking forward to Iron Man 2, Avengers, etc... (although I don't like that Terrence Howard is going to be replaced in future movies). - 9.5 out of 10

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - This movie was sort of Indy... After the things I've heard about it I was a little surprised. There were a few scenes that were bad, and I really don't like the way the ending went. I really feel like Crusade was a better ending to the series. - 6.5 out of 10

Shrek The Halls - Not great, not bad, just a average holiday special. - 5 out of 10

Kung Fu Panda - Better than I thought it would be. Really enjoyed the story and animation. One of the better Dreamworks animation films in my opinion. - 8 out of 10

Secrets of the Furious Five - meh... like Shrek The Halls just average. Does have some good lessons for the kids. - 5 out of 10

The Bourne Identity - Part of my Bourne trilogy weekend. The first one for me is lacking in the action. Since I caught movies 2 and 3 first, my expectations for the action scenes were different than what the first director decided to deliver. The story is great though and Matt Damon delivers a fine performance as the tortured Jason Bourne. 8/10

In the Land of Women - Very good! Funny, sad, romantic. I'd reccomend it to everyone!

I just watched Big Business again with Bette Midler & Lily Tomlin. It wasn't as funny as I remembered it. I thought the funniest scenes now were with Roone and the 2 gay guys!

I remember when Disney/MGM opened in 1989 they had a restaurant where Playhouse Disney now is and the seating area was decorated like the lobby from the Plaza Hotel set from this film.

The Secret Life of Bees - Seriously one of the most depressing movies ever. Reccomended, though.

That would be the Soundstage Restaurant. I wish I could have eaten there. The re-themed it to Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin at one point I think.

Just finished watching The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh as the original mini-series. I have to say that I absolutely adored it and it's now become one of my favorite Disney movies. I didn't care much for the theatrical cut, as I felt after watching the series it was a bit too quick and you lost some of the character development and information, especially on Mrs Waggett.

Anyway, I want to thank mostly Flanger-Hanger for helping me to take an interest in it. I've always been interested in period film dramas of 1700s England and the American Revolution, and after seeing your banners and discussing it, I decided to give it a try, and now found a new favorite movie of mine. Thanks!

Dr Syn: Scarecrow of Romeny Marsh

I actualy enjoyed this film, very engaging character, such a vitality in the plots. Dr Syn was the breakthrough character in my opinon, one of Walt's best live production.



Donald Duck Vol. 4: An exceptional climax to one of the world's most profilic characters....Immeresed in watching Donald and the Wheel, Grand CanyonScope. I highly recomend this final vol of Donald's career.

Madagascar 2: I watched the 1st one and found the style of the series alil hard to take in, mainly because in my opinon, the animation seemed too rushed and all...the personalities were there yet the style of the film seemed a bit peaky on me.

I haven't seen those films, and I really don't want to, but the character design is pretty awful, IMO.

Well the 1st film's style wasn't aweful it was good, but I guess I'm used to seeing it more sophiscated....The sequel had some "rips" from "Lion King" which threw me off guard and yes we became friends thru Disney Amy

Elefego Baca/Swamp Fox: I rented this dvd and aboustly loved it, follows the majestic footsteps of Davy Crockett and I noticed in Swamp Fox there were some scenes that reflected Mel Gibson's The Paitroit

I watched WALL-E last night. Its still one of my favorite movies of the year (even though I did not see that many films in theatres this year).

I don't care to see them either. Both films do not interest me very much. Some of the characters have a blockish sort of style to them.

And you too Mason, I must say I'm glad you enjoyed Elfego Baca / Swamp Fox too. The more people who take in interest in them the more likely Disney will release the rest of their episodes.

Well on Baca/Swamp Fox I wasn't interested at 1st cause I never heard of 'em....yet I vaguealy remember when I was lil watchin Vault Disney, they aired some Swamp Fox episode and I recal 'em playin the theme song. No clue bout the Baca Saga yet it was very entertaing and adventureous.
