Those are amazing! Really beautiful. To bad they have no picture of the Mad Hatter figur.

Bonus features details are out for the DVD and Blu-ray courtesy of The HD Room:

DVD:
* Finding Alice
* The Mad Hatter
* Effecting Wonderland

Blu-ray:
Wonderland Characters:
* Finding Alice
* The Mad Hatter
* The Futterwacken Dance
* The Red Queen
* Time-Lapse: Sculpting the Red Queen
* The White Queen

Making Wonderland:
* Scoring Wonderland
* Effecting Wonderland
* Stunts of Wonderland
* Making The Proper Size
* Cakes of Wonderland
* Tea Party Props

The Blu-ray will mirror The Princess and the Frog's release with a single-disc disc Blu-ray and a three-disc combo with the BD, DVD, and Digital Copy. No release date is given, but HDRoom is saying it could come as early as May 25th.

I've got to admit I'm disappointed. No commentary? No PiP feature that shows us the original green screen footage like on 300's BD? No galleries? Not even any deleted scenes? Well, the last one is sort of expected since I don't think any of Burton's films on home video have deleted scenes, if they're known to exist. But I would've thought a PiP track that lets us view the live-action footage as it was originally shot would be a no-brainer. It's a good thing I've got the Visual Companion book to to help supplement this release. Still, it's disappointing that a film that's grossing $750 million worldwide and counting is treated to probably an hour's worth of features.

I'm dissapointed as well... I've would've loved to hear an Audio Commentary. I really hope the other bonus features will be informative or entertaining.

They obviously have the material out there, from what we have seen from the mini 'making of' episodes online, so whats with packing the DVD so light ?

Also, my local cinema, in celebration of 'Alice' has two screens in the cinema dedicated to just showing both Disney Alice movies !! I saw them back to back last night, and it was a wonderful experience :) I thought of you Disneykid !

Oh, man, color me envious! I would love to see the animated version on the big screen, and making it a double feature with the live-action one is even cooler. Glad you enjoyed them!

So basically, if you get the DVD, you just get 3 couple-minute featurettes that are on the Internet anyway? This is ridiculous!

Well, the DVD featurettes are different from what's online. According to the BBFC, "Finding Alice" is 6 minutes, "The Mad Hatter" is 5:44, and "Effecting Wonderland" is 6:33. Still, barely 18 minutes' worth of supplements for the DVD is definitely lame.

Alice has earned 752 million dollars so far according to Box Office Mojo. Is it possible that it will shatter 800 million dollars, since it has yet to be released in countries like Spain, Japan and Brazil? I sure hope so!:)

It was truely wonderful :) I must say though, the film that gave me most goosebumps was the original Alice. As soon as the Jud Conlon chorus started, I was beside myself with joy ! Then seeing Burton's movie straight after almost made it seem a bit ... well, flat if truth be told. I very much enjoyed Burton's, but it isnt as wonderful, in my opinion, as the 1950's Alice.

When you take the dramatic quality of Burton's audio commentaries in account, it's safe to say that you're really not missing anything :D .

Oooh, where in the UK are you? Sorry to sound stalkerish, but I wanna go and see the original on the big screen (even though it most likely won't realise).

After many mishaps, I have finally seen this movie, and in 3D to boot. Although not all that nutty (despite some of the gory and gothic details, the King's severed head being perhaps my favourite of these grizzly touches), and despite being absolute blasphemy to Lewis Carroll (far far far more than pretty much every other major production ever produced), I really liked it on the whole. The special effects were fantastic, and I didn't mind the battle and the fight against the Jabberwocky, although I felt that it ended quite abruptly. I also found that the whole idea of Alice becoming a modern business woman in Victorian England a bit contrived and unrealistic, as positive as it may be. And don't get me started on that diabolical Futterwacken or whatever. That felt like it was forced in by some brainless executive. :roll: But having said that, this stands as a very good effort, even if Walt's version will always be the better one.

Not at all, Wonderlicious :) I'm from Hampshire, and it's a local cinema. Does that offer any help ? or are you far, far away from there ?

Sadly I'm a bit too far away from there. Oh well, nevermind. :P Much kudos to your cinema for doing that though. I'm guessing it's an independent one, right?

I'm glad you liked this movie, I've had enough with people banishing this movie. I enjoyed the Tim Burton version a lot.

So, has anyone yet bought the CD?

Can you tell me if the song from the beginning of this video is on it?

Or is there any other way to know/get that song?

And yes, I think Disney is being light on this release so they can get people to buy it again with more bonus features in the future.

There are actually 2 differ Cds...the one with only the Score of the film by danny elfman with which You can get DMR points

However the other one Almost Alice has all the songs like Avril Lavigne's new song Alice....however if you want both the score and the songs you have to buy both CDs....btw for some odd reason Almost Alice is not going to let you get DMR points :(

That music isn't on either CD (not the Elfman soundtrack nor the Almost Alice spin-off album). I'm guessing it's some sort of stock music.
