Those are amazing! Really beautiful. To bad they have no picture of the Mad Hatter figur.Old Fish Tale wrote:Tonner dolls! Click here!
I'm dissapointed as well... I've would've loved to hear an Audio Commentary. I really hope the other bonus features will be informative or entertaining.Disneykid wrote:Bonus features details are out for the DVD and Blu-ray courtesy of The HD Room:

The Blu-ray will mirror The Princess and the Frog's release with a single-disc disc Blu-ray and a three-disc combo with the BD, DVD, and Digital Copy. No release date is given, but HDRoom is saying it could come as early as May 25th.
I've got to admit I'm disappointed. No commentary? No PiP feature that shows us the original green screen footage like on 300's BD? No galleries? Not even any deleted scenes? Well, the last one is sort of expected since I don't think any of Burton's films on home video have deleted scenes, if they're known to exist. But I would've thought a PiP track that lets us view the live-action footage as it was originally shot would be a no-brainer. It's a good thing I've got the Visual Companion book to to help supplement this release. Still, it's disappointing that a film that's grossing $750 million worldwide and counting is treated to probably an hour's worth of features.

Oh, man, color me envious! I would love to see the animated version on the big screen, and making it a double feature with the live-action one is even cooler. Glad you enjoyed them!atlanticaunderthesea wrote:Also, my local cinema, in celebration of 'Alice' has two screens in the cinema dedicated to just showing both Disney Alice movies !! When you take the dramatic quality of Burton's audio commentaries in account, it's safe to say that you're really not missing anythingDisneyFan09 wrote: I'm dissapointed as well... Oooh, where in the UK are you? Sorry to sound stalkerish, but I wanna go and see the original on the big screen (even though it most likely won't realise).atlanticaunderthesea wrote:Also, my local cinema, in celebration of 'Alice' has two screens in the cinema dedicated to just showing both Disney Alice movies !! Sadly I'm a bit too far away from there. Oh well, nevermind.atlanticaunderthesea wrote:Not at all, WonderliciousI'm from Hampshire, and it's a local cinema. Does that offer any help ? or are you far, far away from there ?
I'm glad you liked this movie, I've had enough with people banishing this movie. I enjoyed the Tim Burton version a lot.Oooh, where in the UK are you? Sorry to sound stalkerish, but I wanna go and see the original on the big screen (even though it most likely won't realise).
After many mishaps, I have finally seen this movie, and in 3D to boot. Although not all that nutty (despite some of the gory and gothic details, the King's severed head being perhaps my favourite of these grizzly touches), and despite being absolute blasphemy to Lewis Carroll (far far far more than pretty much every other major production ever produced), I really liked it on the whole. The special effects were fantastic, and I didn't mind the battle and the fight against the Jabberwocky, although I felt that it ended quite abruptly. I also found that the whole idea of Alice becoming a modern business woman in Victorian England a bit contrived and unrealistic, as positive as it may be. And don't get me started on that diabolical Futterwacken or whatever. That felt like it was forced in by some brainless executive. But having said that, this stands as a very good effort, even if Walt's version will always be the better one.

Can you tell me if the song from the beginning of this video is on it?
Or is there any other way to know/get that song?
And yes, I think Disney is being light on this release so they can get people to buy it again with more bonus features in the future.
