A Cinderella themed book by Pierre Lambert will be released on October 11, 2024. Pierre Lambert has made books for Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book and Mickey Mouse, all of which are amazing. The art inside is really beautiful.

Hey Duster, it will be like 45EUR, which is roughly the same in USD (I think). I think you can get it on Amazon France.

Sometimes Stuart Ng Books (

I found this cool behind the scenes picture today. I've never seen it before.
It's so fascinating how much Lady Tremaine looks like Eleanor Audley in the final movie.

I was browsing through Facebook, and I found another alternative design for the Cinderella Platinum Edition DVD cover. Apparently, Philo Barnhart did this art.
What do you guys think?
There’s also an unfinished version where Henri looked like a drag king.

I've seen that live-action reference of the stepfamily many times actually, Vlad. I agree with you, though.
Luchi84, if you mean the one where it's all shaded and Cinderella is in silver with very blonde hair, I think I know which one you mean and I agree!

In the live action reference film for Cinderella, Eleanor Audley played Lady Tremaine, Rhoda Williams played Drizella Tremaine and Helene Stanley played Anastasia Tremaine as well as Cinderella.

Thanks for the info, carolinakid! I must have forgot the voice of Drizella was also her model!

Hopefully it includes "The Dress My Mother Wore" since it mentions deleted songs. $100 is a lot, but I'd like to have it for sure.

That looks really cool. But $100 is a bit too much for me. At least, it's cheaper than the Snow White score that they released a few years ago.

That is very, very cool. But I am not such a huge fan of the score. I actually prefer Rodgers and Hammerstein's. Just the score. Walt's version overall is still tops. I dunno. It's not like I don't love the Walt score at least to some degree, but I don't need to own it like this.

Confirmed

It's in there!
The price is a little high, when you see the extent of detail that was required in order to make it, I believe the price is justified. Even based on the amount of hours it would have taken to digitize this score from handwritten manuscripts!
In terms of sizing, it's comparable to a coffee table book. The amount of content in the book is impressive!

If I was more affluent and had a bigger room, then I might buy the Full Score book.
Thanks,
Sotiris, that is very cool! I loved seeing all that.

Yay! Where I work's currently having layoffs. If I survive, then I'll definitely buy this.
I didn't know SW had one of these, too. Does anyone have a link or is it no longer available? TBH, I wouldn't mind having these for most WDAS films since I do play piano. Of course, I'm more excited for the Cinderella one for the deleted songs, and some other bits I always loved (the score during Cinderella's escape from the palace and the ethereal reprise of ADIAWYHM while Cinderella cries under the willow as the Fairy Godmother appears).

Both of those scenes you mentioned are such fantastic pieces from the score - I'm in full agreement with you there!
For Snow White, there was an edition called the
"Master Score" which was released in 2015. However, it pales in comparison to this (as far as music for study goes). The "Master Score" only has a handwritten melody line for most of the film (and it's extremely hard to decipher). It has a lot of notation around special effects and the overall way the audio tracks would be mastered. No orchestrations, just a few piano-conductor condensed score pages scattered throughout.
