So Cora said she did a lot to get where she and her duaghter, Regina, are. She also made Regina save Snow White and marry the king so she could be queen. But wasn't Cora already a queen when she married the king who wanted her to spin straw into gold, and Regina was then a princess? And when you see Cora getting Regina ready to meet the king, and later to prepare for the wedding, they are in a castle different from the king's, so isn't that Queen Cora's castle? Why does she need Regina to marry a king to get all the power and riches when she has all that?

So any help with that would be appreciated.
You Might find your answers when the show returns in March as the actress who played the young Cora will return obviously only in flashbacks to possibly answer those questions, most likely in flashbacks belonging to Regina

Apparently there will be a hour-long special that airs just before the return of Once Upon a Time this Sunday called Wicked Is Coming, which is a recap of the season thus far (narrated by Dan Stevens from Downton Abbey).

Very excited to see the rest of the season. As far as I know, there was a long wait before the rest of the season so the rest of the episodes will air without breaks/re-runs. Tells me ABC definitely cares about helping this show maintain its audience. :)

I thought it was good! Not enough happened for me to think it was really good, but it was good. I really liked the drama and wondering what was going to happen with Hook and Walsh. And of course the very end with the Witch!

The only thing I don't like is the Wicked Witch of the West is not wearing a pointy hat like she should, when even Prince James says she has a pointy hat. She doesn't have a pointy hat. She has the Arby's logo as a hat! Ok I kind of like the idea they have it as a "normal" pretty hat, but still!

I liked it but I have a few questions such as how did Hook get to Emma and I am just hoping tat Wicked Witch is not related to anyone. Can we just get a villain that is not a relative. It was enjoyable and a great set up and I'm looking forward to seeing what the new curse has in store.

Well The Witch said something about getting her revenge I thought it was in reference to The Queen in that queen might be evil but I'm wicked and wicked always wins, so It wouldn't shock me that much to be honest if someone is related to The Wicked Witch in some way.

Tbh, I've become used to the idea of the very twisted family tree on this show, so why stop now. I mean nothing's going to top finding out that Peter Pan is Henry's great grandfather.

I personally loved the new episode; it felt just like a new season's premiere (I believe that's what they were going for by separating the season in almost perfect halves). I'm excited to see what they do with Oz, and very glad to see flashbacks set in a different time. I believe the best thing to come out of this is that maybe the characters will move on from the Snow White v. the Queen feud. Not that the Queen won't still hate her, but maybe they can just accept their familial relationship and no longer try to escape/exclude/exterminate each other. Glad to see Snow/Ginnifer (however you spell it) is already far along, too. I like that plot line. Also, it looks more and more like Emma will go for Hook, and I'm very happy with that. I don't like Baelfire--especially the actor who plays them, but the character, too.

The hot guy from Ugly Betty looked strange with brown hair.

Oh, and a spoiler I read on another site: Apparently one of the main characters (Snow/Charming/Hook/Emma/Regina/Gold/Neal) won't live to see season 4. And they made to sure to say they really will be dead, no backsies like Archie or the Blue Fairy. I'm hoping it's Neal/Bae.

I just rewatched the episode with young Cora andit's because prince Henry was fifth in line for the throne. So when Cora married Henry she became a princess, not a queen and had almost no power. I don't really know what that makes Regina though.

Hope this helps, if you didn't know the answer already.

Thanks supertalies that actually helped a lot! I'm guessing that just made Regina a princess too.

I'm glad they got the fact that Zelena and Regina are sisters out of the way early. I think the show had so many characters who are relatedalready, so it's probably best they don't act like it's such a huge reveal at the end (like with Pan).

Good episode so far. I wonder if the Witch's actress is wearing contacts? Her eyes look so strange (even in the Storybrooke scenes). I also liked that they finally showed that Rumpelstiltskin is still alive. My favorite part was seeing Regina and Emma trust each other/working together. It also feels like Regina is finally over gunning for Snow now, and maybe with another common enemy in the Witch they'll cement this don't-like-each-other-but-won't-kill-each-other understanding for good.

I'm surprised Rapunzel will be the flashback for next week--I assumed they'd be showing what happened to Rumpelstiltskinnext episode.

I'm glad they have Rumple, but Zarina and Regina as sisters? Gee, didn't see that coming

Geese, are all of the major characters going to be related on this show? I love Once but this was so expected and and just made me go "really"

So what, I think it's brilliant. I don't really understand the problem of some of these major characters being related in some way or form and never saw the twist of whom was related from whom. At least though, Regina didn't know she had a half sister at all while Rumple knew all along Pan was really his father. Also I think it's clear who does end up dying with no backsies so to speak, but then again perhaps not. Looking very forward to next week's episode.

EDIT

I didn't realize Once Upon A Time In Wonderland was back and new... It apparently started March 6th.... I'll have to catch up on Hulu Plus.

Who do you think? I'm hoping Neal/Baelfire.

Oh, and I'm thinking the Witch might actually be here to stay, unlike Cora/Pan. Just speculating, but something about the way her and Regina reacted to each other seemed like a sibling rivalry more than a Harry Potter v. Voldemort kind of deal where the villain must die. I could see them including her in the main cast after the current arc, like Regina and Rumple.

Another POSSIBLE huge spoiler for those who want to avoid: people on another forum have been speculating even before the show came back that Zelena might also be half-sister to Snow White, as in the child of Cora + Snow White's father, which I'm thinking might be true now considering the strange way the Witch interacts with Snow this episode. Perhaps the Witch wants to take away both Regina's and Snow's children? And somehow I can't help thinking Aurora and Snow being pregnant at the same time may not be coincidence...

I'm also wondering if Glinda and Dorothy will enter into the current storyline at all or not?

Yeah, it's been on two weeks now. I kind of didn't pay attention because the first ep back was on at the same time as American Idol and I had to flip between. I only just realized the past week that there are only 3 episodes of Wonderland left. :o

Cora's supposed to be appearing on Wonderland the next episode for everyone who doesn't watch that show.

Last night was a pretty good episode, to me anyway. Especially the rape-y vibes between the Witch and Rumple. They completely wasted the Rapunzel tale though. Apparently ratings went down because of a basketball game. :/

Totally agree . . . I guess she's part of the one and done club like Hansel & Gretel, Jack (and the Beanstalk), Lancelot, etc.

Yeah, I was really disappointed by Rapunzel but I'm happy to see Neal back in the next episode.
