I'm a huge fan of the Christmas album as well as the Tea Party album as well. Even if the voice actresses for the classic princesses never sounded very accurate to the original versions.

I think Jennifer Hale was a pretty good match for Cinderella I must say. Though she hasn’t sung as her for yonks !

Is yonks a British word I don't know? Or did you mean years? I didn't know Jennifer Hale ever sang as Cinderella.

I know Jennifer Hale did the speaking voice but I didn't realize she ever sang for Cinderella as well.

The only song that she sang as Cinderella was "True Sisters" from Sofia The First.

I found an auction for a Japanese Disneyland soundtrack from the 80s with the princesses.
Interesting that Cinderella's ball gown is so pink, but everyone else has movie accurate colors. (Look at the second picture, that shows the inside)

Did you know that the Platinum edition trailer of Cinderella is based on a teaser trailer for Cinderella 2: Dreams come true?

Watch and see the similarities in the beginning. rotfl

I really like Cinderella in pink and there's been a few pieces of merchandise which have incorrectly colored her dress that way. At least her hair is accurate for once.

Wow good catch. I never realized that both trailers are practically identical, or at least the first halves are. I like the trailer a lot so I don't blame Disney for reusing it. It surprises me that they constantly reuse clipart and cover art but never trailers.

I agree, I like her in pink, but I do prefer in silver or blue.

I actually did know that about the trailers. There is also another Cinderella II: Dreams Come True trailer with animation from the sequel in it that has an even closer opening to the Platinum Edition trailer.

Speaking of reusing trailers, watch the similarities between these two Cinderella 2 trailers.

Cinderella 2 trailer 2001 (This trailer has animation of Cinderella with different colors than those she has in the final movie. For example Cinderella's hair is blonde in the trailer, and her dress is both blue or white in some scenes. But the dress is pink in those scenes of the final movie) (Anastasia's dress in the ball room is yellow in the final movie, but is pink in the trailer)

Cinderella 2 Special edition trailer 2007 (This trailer mix footage from the final movie and the previous trailer with different colors.)

Oh, that's weird, the 2001 trailer was the one I was thinking of. There is no other trailer besides the two you posted, DisneyBluLife, that have the same opening as the Platinum Edition trailer.

That's funny how different some of the dress colors were in that trailer. Maybe they decided to change the colors sometime late in production for whatever reason. Considering the fact that most of Cinderella's dresses in that film were just color swaps, it's not really a big deal.

BTW in that first link, does anyone remember if that shot at 0:19 ever made it into the final film (Cinderella and Anastasia entering the palace hallway)? I can't remember that scene for some reason but I really like it.

Those are my three favorite colors for her to wear, but I almost think that pink is my favorite for her. Not the deep magenta of the dress the mice make for her in the tarnished new restoration but the blush pink from the VHS and laserdisc.

Disney Store Japan is featuring Esmeralda and Megara with the other princesses in merchandise. They've occasionally done stuff with Esmeralda (although never with the other princesses) but this is a first with Megara.

I love that illustration of Meg. If it were up to me I'd include Megara, Esmeralda, Kida, and Jane into the princess line-up.

If they had done a Disney Heroines line as suppose to Princess they could’ve included more characters like Meg and Esmeralda. They look beautiful in the picture with Aurora too, very nice  :)

Have any of you ever bought on Japan's Disney Store website? They have disclaimers in English (https://store.disney.co.jp/special/foreign.aspx); you can just pay a lot to have it shipped directly to your home in whichever country you live in, right?? And how do you know how much to pay, since prices are in Yen (?)?

Me, too. The line's already huge now, and only going to get bigger and bigger, so what's the harm? I’d also include Alice and Tinker Bell again, plus Lilo.
