I hope Gary L. Goldman kicks Disney's trash. It's nice when copyright laws works against Disney every blue moon or so.

Zootopia parodies of the Oscar nominated films this year. I thought somebody might enjoy seeing them.

It's odd that they're doing these parody posters this year with Zootopia. I wonder if they're trying to keep Zootopia fresh and relevant in people's minds due to the sequel being in the works.

I thought the same when I saw these posters. Disney has also released a couple of videos with the excuse of being the anniversary of its release. The sequel announcement can't be too far away.

That's my guess, too.

I hope Frozen's sequel and this film's sequel get better than the lazy treatment you see with WIR2. I could actually see the potential for a sequel to Zootopia to be even stronger than the first.

Hoping this is true as well! Out of all the recent films, Zootopia is the most predisposed to the theme park experience. Although I hope they incorporate Zootopia into one of the American parks as well since I'll likely never go to Shanghai's.

I hope it will come over to all the other parks ... it could stand to be its own park by itself anyway !
Shanghai seems to be getting so much cool stuff at the moment, definitely jealous !

There is so much life to Zootopia / Zootropolis. I don't know why Disney is ignoring it ?

Zootopia easily could have its own park so it deserves at least a land in the Animal Kingdom. I mean this film made over a billion dollars, almost as much as Finding Dory made. That's amazing for the first film of a series. That's why I'm surprised Disney hasn't announced a sequel yet although I'm sure it's coming.

Frankly, Disney has done a really bad job of promoting this film since its release. I barely saw merchandise when the film was out, and now it's practically non-existent in stores. I realize that films like Frozen sell more merchandise but The Lion King was an animal movie without a princess and it still sold tons of merchandise. There's so much they could do with Zootopia such as animal plushes, interactive figures, playsets (in the style of Littlest Pet Shop or Polly Pocket) that could all connect together to form the different lands in Zootopia. I'm sure if Zootopia had been a 90s film, it would have received merchandise like this but these days, it seems that Disney only bothers to go all out when it comes to their princess films. I think Stitch was their last non-princess movie that really had exposure in stores.

If you count Pixar films then yes. Even Toy Story, Nemo/Dory, and The Incredibles get a large amount of merchandise though, certainly more than anything Wreck-It Ralph, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia received.
