New still and book cover.
That shot reminds me of the similar shot in Monsters Inc. Yes, call me shallow, but that's how I feelD82 wrote:New still.
I hadn't noticed it. That's a cool detail.Jules wrote:I love the speed limit.
Which shot in Monsters, Inc.?DisneyFan09 wrote:That shot reminds me of the similar shot in Monsters Inc.
Really? Because I got more of a WALL-E vibe from the still.DisneyFan09 wrote:That shot reminds me of the similar shot in Monsters Inc. Yes, call me shallow, but that's how I feelD82 wrote:New still.
That's what popped into my head at first as well.DisneyJedi wrote: Really? Because I got more of a WALL-E vibe from the still.
The acting is less good (not awful, but less good) in the Disney version, the scenes are less emotional or funny in the Disney version, there is less great direction in the Disney version.JeanGreyForever wrote:What are the things you think make the Disney version inferior or at least not as good as the original Broadway stage adaptation? I know a lot of people complain about Rapunzel not dying since it leaves the Witch's arc unfinished. I think people said Act 2 isn't given enough time to breathe in the final film.
The one in the climax where they're riding on all the doors.D82 wrote:Which shot in Monsters, Inc.?
Two or a month before the film premieres.Atlantica wrote:When do you think we will start seeing the Princess dolls in their new gear / face moulds ? I guess we have a ways to go yet ?

Ah, OK. Yes, I see the resemblance.DisneyFan09 wrote:The one in the climax where they're riding on all the doors.D82 wrote:Which shot in Monsters, Inc.?
Agreed. He looks like a cross between Shaggy from Scooby Do and Fred from Big Hero 6.DisneyFan09 wrote:Not digging the design of Pyro. He looks awful.
I'm actually surprised they're including any pre-existing video game characters since they pretty much abandoned the video game conceit for the sequel.D82 wrote:And some news:

I just hope they limit their presence to tie-ins that will fade away after the movie finishes its run and not keep them around as part of the DP franchise.unprincess wrote:and so the Wrecked Princesses merch begins...
And a ugly one, indeed.Sotiris wrote:Agreed. He looks like a cross between Shaggy from Scooby Do and Fred from Big Hero 6.
Me too. It's almost contradictory to have them since all the buzz has been about that one Princess scene, anyways.I'm actually surprised they're including any pre-existing video game characters since they pretty much abandoned the video game conceit for the sequel..

Oh my God, that cover is horrible! Hand drawn at it's worst! It's looks like a comic book cover and though some recent Art of-books has featured lackluster cover work, this one is the peak of ridiculousness!D82 wrote:Some new characters appear on the cover of The Art of Ralph Breaks the Internet: http://ask-icancraft-it.tumblr.com/post ... at-is-most
I have to agree. The artwork chosen for the cover doesn't really fit an art-of book — as you said, it would be more suitable for a comic book or a story book — and the character design used in this particular artwork is...not my cup of tea.DisneyFan09 wrote:Oh my God, that cover is horrible!
