Boxoffice Mojo's prediction of Frozen:
Frozen (Nov. 27): Disney Animation is back on Thanksgiving weekend for the first time since 2010, when Tangled opened strong on its way to just over $200 million. Frozen's story isn't as immediately interesting, and marketing has yet to sell this to boys the way Tangled did. Still, this is the latest holiday season in which the studios have neglected to schedule compelling content for families in December. As a result, Frozen should play well all the way through Christmas, and could end up matching Wreck-It Ralph ($189.4 million). Forecast: $185 million

Another story about how the mighty Pixar saved WDAS and brought "creativity" to the studio. 'Cause, you know, they were never able to tell a good story before Lasseter took over.

I'm so tired of the same narrative being constantly reproduced in the media.

I think it's the reprise of DYWTBAS at the end!
EDIT: And after the LA screening, there are a LOT of raves on Twitter and Tumblr!

Even though I was at first dissapointed when I heard that there is no Disney chorus at the end of Frozen, but hearing this insturmental reprise of DYWTBAS, I am really happy that they did that for the finale anyway.
Is there any chance that you can link to some of the raves on Twitter, that would be really good.

I think they mean that a woman walks in a slinky, game show hostess kind of way. I don't know why that applies to Elsa, but whatever.

In the context of the script, I think they mean like these kind of game show models presenting the prizes:

Amazing one star audience review from RT.
Disney, when are you ever going to join the 21st century? Its animation studio just stays living in the past. The new Disney film Frozen could have easily been made in the 1940's. It is based on a classic fairy tale known as The Snow Queen. But you would think that in 2013 they might try to make it appeal to people today. Well you'd be wrong.
If you've seen the trailer for this movie, they market it as a movie more in the vein of Ice Age. There's a funny-looking snowman walking on ice and struggling to stay on his feet; he later winds up sneezing so hard that he blows his head off. All you see is the snowman and a likeable moose. Instead, Frozen is actually a ridiculously old-fashioned movie about princesses. This movie is more like The Sound of Music than anything from this century. The songs all sound old and dated, just like everything else in the movie. The only good thing in the movie is that snowman, and they don't even bring him in until halfway through the film.
I understand that this is a movie aimed at kids, but most knowledgeable film studios nowadays at least try to entertain the adults watching as well. I was bored out of my mind. Then after briefly falling asleep, I woke up to see a prince trying to decapitate the princess with a sword. Sure, that's what little kids want to see. Sorry if I ruined that for you but hopefully it will keep you away from the film then. Of course there will be children who enjoy the film simply because it's an animated fairy tale, and little kids don't expect much anyway. But something tells me that people in their 80's will enjoy this old-fashioned crap just as much. It opens on November 27 but try to enjoy your Thanksgiving by not seeing it.
And yes, there is a MAJOR SPOILER there though I think everyone in this forum already knows it.

Er, the 1940's?

And to think some people are complaining that it's too modern.

Same here. It's like the Sound Of Music ? One of the most successful Movie Musical's ever made ? Not only loved in fan's eyes, but also with Critics ?
Awesome, this movie is gonna rock.
Thanks man.
