I did nothing today but sit in bed and watch movies. I watched Don't Bring Me Flowers starring Rock Hudson & Doris Day- it was a really good, cute movie. Then I watched Monsters, Inc.- great as always! Then I watched Pearl Harbor- one of my all-time favorite movies- even though I know what happens in the film, I still can't help but cry!

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.

I loved it, and implore you all to see it.

Iron Man - I know a legion of Marvel fans will hate me for saying this, but after tasting what Nolan had to offer with The Dark Knight, Iron Man just doesn't seem as spectacular or as great as it did on opening weekend. Still a wonderful film on its own right though. Downey Jr. does great as the millionaire playboy and the Pepper / Tony relationship is one of the best in comic book lore. The climax is a bit weak, and the villians are a walking, talking cliche but strong leads and some wonderful action sequences make up for the films minor weak spots. 8.5/10

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Good, but really not the best of the series. Here's how I would rank the movies.

1.Raiders of the Lost Ark
2.Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
3.Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
4.Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

I saw Fireproof last night. It wasn't horrible, but it was pretty predictable. It was Bobby's idea to see it, and we saw it with some friends. It did have some exciting action in it, though (seriously!).

Heavyweights - This movie never gets old. Ben Stiller is hilarious and there are tons of classic lines. They really don't make kids movies like this anymore.

Mama's Boy - This was a pretty good film, with Jon Heder, Diane Keaton, Jeff Daniels, and Anna Faris. I enjoyed it, though some of it wasn't that good.

Derailed - it was an OK movie. It seemed a little long but the last hour of it was SO unexpected (for me at least)! Even though they could have cut a lot out, I still thought it was a pretty decent movie.

Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I actually think this is a fun movie. It gives me the typical Indy-feeling and although the alien plot is a bit much for me, the film is still a lot of fun with many nice references to the first three (I loved the scene with the snake)

The Strangers - Not too good. I'm not sure if my expectations were too high, or if I need to just watch it again when I'm alone (I was with friends, and movies are always scarier when I'm alone), because it wasn't too great. I'd definitely rent it first if I were you.

Eagle Eye - Loved it! Aria freaked me out. I think my favorite character was Rosario Dawson's.

I watched Young Frankenstein last night. It's sort of a Halloween tradition now. I thought it was pretty funny, even though I never saw the original Frankenstein movie.

I just finished watching A Muppet Family Christmas. I used to watch it every year, but it was at my parents' house, and my mom made me a DVD of it last year, and I just watched it. It really is one of the best holiday movies ever.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! - Fantastic, as usual.

Teen Witch - First time seeing this. Cheesy, but I enjoyed it.

Pinoco It was great!!! I hadn't watched it for years, it has rekindled my love for classic & anaimated disney movies. And it was a nice change from pirates of the caribbean lol.
Marry poppins it was on tv one sunday after-noon, so the whole family watched it with a nice cup of hot choclate.
27 dresses I liked it a lot so did my mum, it's a good chick flick.
Iron man I was not looking forwards to seeing this one to much, but it was brilliant!!! I loved it. It had a great plot, great acting & a bit at the end of the titles.
The reaping with hilary swank. It is about the 10 plages out of the bible happining in a small town in the 20th century. It was dull from the start, then it turned out to be about devil worship and things like that so we turnd it off. Avoid it at all costs!!!

Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit - A funny little cartoon. I watched it because it had sort of a Halloween-ish theme.
