Is Ralph blushing while he's looking at Vanellope in the first poster? Easy Ralph, she just a child

There is another version of the poster (Italian) where he's looking at her angrily:

Don't worry she is not a love interest. The creators even said they have a brother sister relationship.

So Vanellope will annoy & tease Ralph. Ralph will fine her cute & annoying. Yep, that sounds like a little sister.

I want to see a 90s style poster of this movie. One with all the characters represented and the villain looking all menacing... like this one of Hunchback:

Anyone bet that King Candy will be the villian because his treatment of Vanellope is just awful.I mean characters of Sugar Rush are pricks for being mean to her just because she is a glitch. :x

This was usually the "family friendly" poster, since the colors were brighter and the focus lied on the characters and the apparent fun the film will offer.

I do agree posters like that should make a return

You've seen the plush dolls for the other racers in sugar rush? Who would want dolls of characters that are bullies & mean-hearted? The other racer are clearly not villains, their just pricks!

Same reason kids still bought Lotso even when he was revealed to be a complete monster.I don't know if they gets to Losto level of vileness but it still kinda of jarring to have plushies of these jerks. This could be also why Vanellope has no social skills because its a defense mechanism for all the bullying she goes through.I mean she has to always be alone on her unfinished track and always sleeping at night with candy wrappers to keep her warm.Underneath her bubbliness her situation kinda makes her personality seem much more sadder if you think about it.

If you can count Toy Story, this effectively is a 90s poster.

Yeah, I mean I know there were plenty of different kinds of posters put out during the 90s... that was a pretty bad generalization on my part. But I mean specifically the ones like Hunchback and Hercules that showed the entire cast. I've always leaned towards those kinds of "busier" posters.

Not every kid likes nice all the time. When I was a kid I had this cute teddy bear that had fangs and claws that you could fold out to make it look evil. It was awesome.

yeah, I understand completely what you were getting at. I guess I was just trying to correct?

Anyway, I think Disney goes with these types of posters because they're more nutural. They dont gear towards adults, nor overcrowd the frame with bright colors.

These kinds of posters are used because they read more clearly form a distance. With the busier ones you either have to print them very large, or get up close to make out everyone.

Ironic because HOND is one of the least Family Movies Friendly ever made.
