You are so right, Amy! But I still wonder if what I wondered might happen might still happen somehow...

Message from the Mexican site of Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)."
Critics point to "entanglement" as a strong bet for the Oscar
Even against very strong cards like Toy Story 3 and How To Train Your Dragon, Pete Hammond of Deadline, and who had access to the exhibit to press "entanglement", says the category of Best Animated Film is already a contender again, with the classic film tells the story of Rapunzel, and it reached the screens in November. Alan Menken, who was present at the event along with the directors, he remarked that music has a slightly medieval flavor and perhaps not very noticeable influence of the folk rock of the 70s, although the score is so epic like Beauty and the Beast or The Little Mermaid and there are songs that are pure Broadway style as "Mother Knows Best" and "I See The Light". The first is the act of evil diva of Mother Gothel and the second part the scene of the floating lanterns, as is destined to become iconic. Entangled arrived in Mexico on January 7.

Mother Gothel...

Dear Disney Enthusiasts,
I know that my opinion might not be popular, but I am totally fascinated by Madame/ Mother Gothel! I think that she's gonna be the coolest, the sexiest, and the most complicated...Disney bad girl ever!
I only wish that The Disney Company would give her more of a motivation for doing what she does...
MAJOR, TOTAL, FANTASTIC SPOILER WARNING FOR EVERYBODY!
I've read news about the fact that people didn't think that Dr. Facilier was given a true motivation for being bad.
From what I've read about Mother Gothel, I have come to the conclusion that she only uses Rapunzel's hair because she wants to be young and beautiful...and so forth...and I'm still wondering WHAT she'd get by being so young and beautiful.
I mean, if I were Mother Gothel, I wouldn't just want to keep brushing some girl's long, blonde hair so that I could look at myself in the mirror and say, "I'm hot!"

If I were going to go to all of that trouble, I'd be after some guy, or I'd be trying to overthrow a royal couple, or something...ANYTHING...
Do you think that Mother Gothel will be given any further motivation for being so mean, or do you think that The Disney Company wants only to paint a picture of the poster child for simple, selfish vanity?
Thank you in advance for your replies.

It's not just being beautiful, there's also an element of the eternal life. Without spoiling the ending,
she kind of has to keep brushing Rapunzel's hair for her own good or else she will die as she has been doing it for centuries apparently. Her life depends on the magic and healing powers of the flower and later the hair...

Wow, thanks for the pics! Where did you find these? Could you please give us the link? Also, could you post the other images that
cuau_cg has posted but without the logo of that Spanish site all over them? Thanks again!!!!
In the picture with Mother Gothel, she really seems to love and care for Rapunzel.

Excuse me Robster 16, you are an expert of removing fonts from images. Can you remove those fonts from those images? It is only optional, unless if you want to.

And yet it's sort of heartbreaking if you know the plot...

I'm not sure if I like how it turned out, but here's a shot at removing one:
These teeny pics are a pain to work with.
Anyway, it's really cool to see more art posted.

Sigh . . . definitely the sketches.

Is it just me, or does it feel like with every new Tangled related pic that the animation looks practically like it was drawn by hand but translated to CGI?

No, it's not you. I also have the same feeling, too.
