Burger King had two sets of Toy Story toys. One set when the movie was in theaters and one in 1996 when it was released on Video.

What kinds of safety measures?

Pixar Not Ruling Out Toy Story 5

“Every film we make, we treat it like it’s the first and the last film we’re ever going to make,” producer Mark Nielsen said during Pixar press day for Toy Story 4. “So you force yourself to make it hold up. You don’t get in over your skis. Whether there’s another one? I don’t know. If there is, it’s tomorrow’s problem.”

A Toy Story 5 is all but confirmed at this point. I found the idea of spinoffs set in the Toy Story world but independent of the main cast intriguing though.

Yes, they are in the movie. The characters they voice have been revealed today:
Betty White, Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner and Carol Burnett lend their voices to a quartet of baby trinkets in “Toy Story 4” (in theaters June 21), joining returning stars Tom Hanks and Tim Allen.

“The 'Toy Story' movies are not only great fun, but they have a lot of heart,” says Brooks, 92, who gives life to little pachyderm Melephant Brooks.

Each character not only has a punny name, but also a “natural personality” reflecting the individual icon, says director Josh Cooley: Burnett, 86, voices the kid seat Chairol Burnett; Reiner, 97, plays the adorably pink Carl Reineroceros; and White, 97, is teething toy Bitey White.

I’m guessing the characters won’t be referenced by name in the movie? Hopefully just in the credits? Just seems a bit on the nose.

I love the casting choices, though. Great comedy icons. Although, since when are chairs sentient? I guess if a child plays with something, it’s given life. It seems like this movie is really widening the scope of Toy Story’s universe.

It's also been removed from all digital versions.

What's your defense for why they should keep it in?

For one, I don't really believe in censorship, if you didn't want to include that joke in 1999 or whatever you should've pulled it before it went to theaters. 2nd, I happen to think it was harmless, even post in a post #metoo world.

Not sure if it could be called a spoiler, since the headlines are rubbed into your face on Google news when you use the words "Toy Story 4", but I notice that Ken will be missing in this movie for some reason. Something leading up to Toy Story 5 perhaps?

I was never expecting him to return anyway. We already knew barbie will have a reduced role, since she only seems to appear in flashbacks anyway, to before she even met ken. they currently live at sunnyside, why bring those characters back into the spotlight? Hard to do without feeling contrived.

It has been revealed today that Randy Newman has written two new songs for the film: "I Can't Let You Throw Yourself Away" and "The Ballad of the Lonesome Cowboy". The end credit version of the latter, performed by Chris Stapleton, is now available to listen and download.

Here's some info about the songs (more details here):
Newman penned two new songs in the film, including "I Can't Let You Throw Yourself Away," which is about Bonnie's craft-project-turned-toy, Forky. "He gets it in his head that he's disposable, so he keeps trying to throw himself in the trash can," said Newman. "And Woody has put himself in charge of keeping him from doing so."

"The Ballad of the Lonesome Cowboy" was written from Woody's perspective. Newman said, "Woody feels like he was a lonesome cowboy until someone comes along and changes his world." Newman was excited to hear Chris Stapleton would record the end credit version of the song and felt he'd bring Woody's feelings to life perfectly. "Chris Stapleton did a great job on this song."

That's certainly a possibility, but I'm also inclined to believe that this could be a potential Toy Story spin-off since they said they were pondering making films in the universe not featuring Woody and the gang. Could this be a starring role for Barbie?
