Who Here Is Gay?

carolinakid, your story is so sweet! And further proof kids know they are gay and can't help it from very early on. People are gay and there's nothing any haters can do about it. But it's so cute how you cam out in the 80's and have ben with someone since the 90's! I hope I find the love of my life like you!
Just like HeelJack (it sounds like I'm saying "Heel, Jack!") suspected lord-of-sith was gay or in between, I did as well, in fact I had made a comment about your cuteness in the Sweeny Movie thread, thinking it would stir something within you. Ha, or outside you. JK. I have a feeling you will move up the Kinsey scale, too. Way up.
You hear that. You gays can't escape our powerful perception.
Congratulations.
Tim, your friends are big dumb losers for leaving you. Chernabog, you are only not telling your friend because she might tell your dad you are gay? If she's not accepting of it and sticks with her also unaccepting boyfriend...I wouldn't want to be friends with her.

It's really sad that there are so many people who have a problem with gay people.
We don't hurt anybody and just because we're gay it doesn't mean we find every woman (or man) attractive and sexy... but so many people don't understand that. =(
Congratulations on your coming out @ all. =)

Congrats on your releases from the closet everyone. May the door be for ever slammed behind you.

One of my friend confessed today to me (only me!) that she was gay..
I was like: Ow! *quiet* Uhm..*quiet*..Really? Uhm..*quietagain* Since when...?
She looked kind of upset ad relieved at the same time and said she alwas was. We talked and I said I didn't mind and I still love her (as a friend offcourse). I laughed and even made some jokes. (''Now we don't have to fight about boys anymore!'')
In reality I don't know what to think! I AM happy for her, but I still feel weird...
Did I do the right thing? How did your friends reacted?

supertalies. I think you did fine.

I assume your initial loss for words was because you had absolutely no idea. Just continue to support your friend and assure her (by actions more than words) that things aren't gonna change the relationship between you.

We're at the point where we're so close as friends it's like we're brother/sister, so she hangs out with my family a lot and unfortunatley is very blunt and can't hold a secret for the life of her. So she doesn't know at all.
She might be accepting of it in time though but with her who knows
Supertalies: The good thing is you didn't say anything negative to your friend so you did good

As for the weird feelings it might just be you trying to adjust to the information. To answer your question my one friend was really happy about it.

Disney Duster, I remember that! It didn't really affect my comming out, though it was flattering

I find it funny that some of you had me picked out as being less than straight, wasn't aware I was that obvious
It's funny because I was talking to one of my friends who I'm in a show with right now, and he says "So, I have a question, are you bi?"
And I said, "Yea, actually, I am. Did somebody tell you or did you just guess."
He replied "I guessed. I have a pretty good orientationar, I saw you and I was like 'BAM!'"
I laughed so hard! And thanks again to all you congratulating! It feels great to be out!

Yeppers.
I make useless contributions, wot. All right, here's a question. If you knew nothing about me other than the basics and we just met, what would you assume my sexual orientation to be? I ask this because there is so much "I had guessed it" amongst people here.

Well, I would have thought you were straight, just cause I think all girls are straight when I first talk to them. Unless you had like...a buzzcut hair cut and wore mens clothing...then I would be like.."Oh, maybe shes just a tomboy" but really you never really know gay or straight or both just by looking at a person, so I try not to assume anything.
One time in highschool there was this beautiful girl...so I tried to talk to her...sooner then later she says "Oh, I'm sorry, I only date girls..."
After a moment of shockedness...
"Oooh your a lesbian...well thats cool...heh, sorry..." ".....

Shortly ago, I had just finished reading this thread, and then I came upon this website that was linked from another website I was on, and they ran this little article that almost hurt my face it made me smile, because the ending is funny. I figured you might get a kick out of it, too!

What if you met me online? What I want to know is if the way I
speak and
write betrays anything.

hmm...to quote scuttle...It's hard to say.
Not sure, I don't know how you speak, but I think you write rather...??? hmm tough question. I think generally when it comes to writing it's hard to tell what a persons orientation may be.

I can't believe I left this for so long.
I think it's past the time I could ever talk to her, but how is your sister and her girlfriend now, Prudence? And also, how are you?

Your writing and the way you speak most likely only betrays your age in my opinion, it just shows you put more effort into how you talk than most other people especially the "l33t" speakers *shudders*.

I know Tommy Kirk (I had such a crush!) is out but are there any other stars associated with Disney that are gay or lesbian? (besides Scar!

)

I don't know if this really counts, but I know Rufus Wainwright (a popular openly gay singer who I have pretty much like every album of

) worked on the Meet The Robinsons soundtrack. He sings two songs, including my favorite Another Believer.
There might be more, but that's the only one that I can think of at the moment.

He's only associated with Disney because of one thing, but Elton John is obviously openly gay.

Well, if we're going this route, Nathan Lane.
