By the way, IGN.com selected The Desperate Housewives women as their "Babe's of the Day" for September 28th, for those who like babes.

Well, I got my Desperate Housewives Episode Guide insert, via the mail, today.

BVHE/Disney was very nice to deal with on this matter!

I guess I'll be calling them, now, about not getting the coupon insert in the Cinderella: Platinum Edition.

Maybe it's just me, but I am really tired of Bree on the show. I think it is because she reminds me of my first wife and the reasons we're not together anymore. She is a real w-i-t-c-h, and that is just putting it nicely. I think that she is the kind of woman who uses sex as a weapon and to her it is probably known as the 'dirty deed'. I am glad that Steven Culp is now gone from the series. I want to see if the writer's let Bree pursue George the Pharmacist or if they give her another kink in her armor that we haven't seen already. Why does she have to be so perfect? The world is not perfect, and I think that they have written her character a little over the top in that regard.

All that being said, "Desperate Housewives" is now my favorite show of the four that I watch: "LOST", "HOUSE", and "24" being the others. The rest of television is just garbage.

Me too! Things need to be way to perfect for her and that bothers me. She also needs to show some emotion, be some what human.

I'm a big Gabrielle fan, lucky girl, I'll take her gardner!

You know what's weird, though? Marc Cherry said BREE was created from his mother (as said in the interviews on the Bonus Features of the..6th disc ).
I find Bree to be an interesting character, and I do think Marcia Cross brings that character to life! Sometimes it gets tiresome, but I find Susan's character to be...not so great. Lynette's turned my favorite since the two episodes! :D

As my avatar states, I am a Bree Fan  It's probably more the actress, Marcia Cross, than it is the character, though. Ms. Cross was in two soaps (Liz on Edge of Night and Kate on One Life to Live), and two primetime dramas (Kimberly on Melrose Place and I can't remember her name on Everwood). I think to the casual viewer, Bree would probably be best recognized as psycho Kimberly (with the SCAR! the SCAR!!), so to see her go from one extreme (Kimberly) to the other (Bree) is quite a trip without a suitcase. Bree's not psychotic, though. She wouldn't blow up an entire apartment building.

In terms of Bree's necessity for perfection, I think maybe it's just the way she wants to present herself to people. It's her MO. Though of course, it could also be OCD, though that doesn't explain her stoicness. I think for her, emotion is a vulnerability, and seemingly-perfect people don't have vulnerabilities, thus, she feels she shouldn't display emotion.

I agree. Bree and Lynette are probably my favorite characters on the show (with Susan at the bottom). I think it's more entertaining to watch Bree lose her composure than any of the others because she tries so hard to be perfect. I found the part with her changing her husband's tie just about the funniest part I've seen on the show.

I know, I'm so excited! I am looking at it as an extra Birthday present...that ALL of the cast of Desperate Housewives gave to me. ;)

The episode, tonight, was very good! I LOVED every minute of it!

Especially Bree's reaction to Andrew kissing that guy! Then, catching them in bed, together! Classic!!!

Yeah, it was awesome! It was obvious, yet still surprising what happened when Bree was going into Andrew's room. You kind of could tell what was going to happen when you saw that she was going into Andrew's room in the first place.
