Is it possible that this could be along the same lines as TLK 1 1/2 (Tremaine & Co. go back in time and go through the original movie, but with all sorts of humorous mini-parodies along the way)?

That could be cool, although I don't think Lady Tremaine is as comedy-equipped a character as Timon & Pumba are. Otherwise, I have mixed feelings. As long as she isn't going back into a whole different time period (that would be absurd), it would make sense. After all, she'd have motive, and a convincing one capable of driving a plot at that.

Still, I have a hard time seeing Tremaine sneaking around behind the Fairy Godmother and then actually using magic. And why is the Fairy Godmother going to be around to be stolen from in the first place? Just checking in? I guess these questions will be answered when the movie comes around, at which time I'll certainly give it a fair try. It should be interesting to see this develop.

It only has one plot instead of three, so at the very least we know it will be better than Cinderella II.

What???

Can you explain these comments? Since when did Mickey have "wild days"?
Well Little Red Henski is being entirely too harsh on the old Mickey shorts (unless that's just humor or sarcasm), but Mickey in his very, very early appearances did drink a little bit of beer and enjoy the occasional tobacco product, along with a few things that are now (but were not then) considered socially taboo. Date rape, however, was not among them.

ok, Lady Tremain is bad as hell...and with a magic wand...

Then what? Maleficent as Tremaine on a destruction-date?

Plane Crazy the 1st Mickey Mouse short does have a scene of Mickey trying to force himself on Minnie. :P Minnie slaps him and he backs off though.

Lets hope Tremaine either gets trapped in time or put out of business for good.

Or she realize that prevent Cinderella of get married with the Prince by traveling on time it wil modify the future so Cinderella still as her servant but this may cause that she had never traveled on time because she had no reason now, what would make Cindy take her path on the story and marry to the Prince and making Tremaine to travel in time to avoid the wedding, but when she realized that she can“t prevent because she will be trapped on an infinite loop of events she finally decides to live with her grief.

Or watching her trying to prevent Cindy to get on the dance but every travel changin some little things like instead of a cystal slip she wear a diamond collar with one of her hairs.

They're gonna make Cindy a servent for the rest of her life. That's what happens when villian fans write screenplays. Time to get out the amthrax and flood the shadow thus making Termaine suffer.

I must say the animation in the trailer really seems to match the original. Watching those clips, I couldn't believe they came from this new direct-to-video movie coming to Disney DVD in 2007. Bravo, DisneyToon Studios, you've maintained the look of a classic!

I am angry about it. Why would Tremaine do such a thing? I hope they kill her off in the end.

 Oh, Luke. Mr. Sarcastic. Anyways, I was really intrigued by the idea, and I'm definitley checking this out. I just thought it was funny when Eleanor Audley  said "Bibbidi! Bobbidi! Boo!!" I lost it on that line. But, really, I think the plot is very interesting, and can be done well.

I liked the preview, too. But I think what I'll do is buy it before I'd buy it for my Cinderella loving Niece (it better be out in early 2007) and have her view it before I buy a copy for her to keep for herself.

I think that's about as serious as "Bibbidi bobbidi boo!" can get. And I think the woman who's doing Tremaine's voice is the woman who played Maleficent in Kingdom Hearts (since they originally had the same voice anyway). I would think Eleanor Audley would be dead by now, and, if not, her voice hasn't changed much after fifty years...

I was actually surprised by the trailer. Even though it showed no clips from the actual sequel, it actually gave off an interesting idea. You have to wonder, would Cinderella have had a happy ending without the help of a magic wand? I despise the woman doing Cinderella's voice though. It annoys me very much.

I loved the Trailer for this movie. I may be a big Villain fan, but I never liked Lady Tremaine. She mentally tortured Cinderella, and was truly evil. I do not want to see her win.
Also in the trailer the woman who did Cinderella's voice sounded exactly like the original Cinderella (Maybe her voice will be done Jennifer Hale-the one who voiced her in Cinderella II). Also the new voice of Lady Tremaine sounds wonderful. Tremaine will probally be voiced by Lois Nettleton, the woman who did Maleficent's voice for the video games, and for Mickey's House of Villains, and various House of Mouse episodes. Tremaine may also be voiced by Susan Blakeslee (The same woman who voiced her in Cinderella II, and the new voice of Cruella De Vil). I loved the Trailer for this movie, and I can't wait to see it.
