A trailer has just been added to the official site of the DVD:
http://disneyvideos.disney.go.com/movie ... 96003.html
It is very well made and makes you REALLY excited for the DVD. Plus, it includes bits of the completed "If I Never Knew You" sequence.
"Pocahontas" has been a favorite of mine since I saw it theatrically and I've been counting the days for this special edition since I first heard of it in 2003 and it's finally coming! Just a few months to go!

Thanks for the find, Joe! That's a very classy trailer, and the completed scene looks excellent. Did anyone else notice that the cover art they showed had an extra yellow banner at the bottom? I bet the final cover will have that to advertise If I Never Knew You.

Well Now that I am back I am going to put in my 2 cents regarding the DVD cover for Pochantas. Well for starters its ia known fact that I am totaly looking forward to this movie

and it being restored in all its glory. But I agree with most here I am dissapointed in the conver art and how John Smith is not on the cover. I think thats CrAp

. Seems like Disney is going with a green them this year. The Cover reminds me a lot of the Babmbi one and of course we are still awaiting for the Tarzan II which I am sure will be green., but who knows maybe it could change you never know with these people at Disney.

these are the sites selling mexican r4 dvds:
www.mixup.com.mx (they just have the 1 disc edition, in a very high price!)
www.sanborns.com.mx (it seems they have the 2 disc edition, thought it says it´s fullscreen, it´s not, they always put "fullscreen" in every dvd

)
www.esmascompras.com (1 disc only)
maybe you wont find what you need right now but, you should keep these urls for the future, perhaps you (or anyone interested) should do a search for "dentro de mi corazon" (so dear to my heart) or "Pinocho" (Pinocchio) special editions.
keep in mind that every mexican disney dvd is r1 compatible, and has elegible english menues on them.
... and Joe!! do you know if this Pocahontas SE will be released in Brazil??

We still haven't heard anything about it, but I'm almost sure it will, since there has been no edition of "Pocahontas" released on DVD in Brazil.
I believe it will be released in the second semester, but I intend to get the region 1 edition. The Gold Collection edition is long waiting to be retired, hehe.

Wow, I so can't wait!

After Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, this is my favorite movie of the 90's Renaissance! I'm actually glad John Smith is not on the cover. It's celebrating Native Americans, and they're trying to keep with that theme. Who says Disney's most wise heroine has to have her hubby standing next to her on the cover of
her 2-Disc DVD.
Oh, and I was really excited about If I Never Knew You, but does anyone have more information on it? It looks like just a montage of earlier scenes. Also, it the song going to have a more soaring melody, but Mel Gibson really can't sing that well.
