Yes. The least I could do for any movie is applaud the creators for the effort they put into it. When I think about it, there aren't really any movies I totally hate. I don't think it is fair to totally hate a movie and promote it negatively. Moviemakers put a lot of work (or at least a decent amount of work) into their movies and usually have a strong passion about it. If I made a movie and I found people hated it and would never recommend it, I would feel heart broken. It's like writing a book report or paper or creative writing piece for an English class and you feel so great and positive about it, but you get it back with a big fat F and your English teacher tells you to never show it to anyone else again and you should burn it.

I just experienced that feeling in a fiction writing class last semester. However I think that a little more effort couldve been done by the creators that would not have resulted in increasing the costs of making the movie. The only thing that wouldve caused such a tragedy is the constant executive meddling. And I believe there was lots and lots of executive meddling with this movie.
