Disney loves to hide behind not wanting to be political. But homophobia is in and of itself a political thing.

It’s all so gross.

In her review of 'Turning Red', Grace Randolph revealed that WDAS's next two films might feature openly LGBTQ+ characters. One movie would have a non-binary character and the other an openly gay character, and could be a protagonist.

I certainly hope so, but I'm afraid I'll only believe it when I see it.

Who's Grace Randolph?

It would be easy for them to have a LGBT character with a Raya sequel that went there.

Not sure if I believe it, but if so, could be Strange World. It does feature Timothee Chalamet of Call Me by Your Name fame, after all. I'd love if he played the first openly LGBT Disney protagonist.

It's still a gay Pixar protagonist, not a Disney one.

No. She specifically said Walt Disney Animation Studios.

At least in the new The Proud Family series we can see two dads kissing twice in the latest episode:

Oh, whoops my bad! Wow, I'd be so happy, so ultimately happy if there was a white gay male Disney protagonist! And then there could be any ethnicity or gender of a gay Disney protagonst before or after, I just want one like me one time, especially if he's cute and magical!

Maybe Disney buying Pixar wasn't the best idea if they're just censoring them. I wonder what kind of representation Pixar would have had if they weren't censored.

They should go on strike. Companies profiting off of Pride but simultaneously censoring content both domestically as well as overseas need to experience the wrath of cancel culture.

Drag these fascist CEO’s asses all over the internet, Disney employees! Go off! Make them suffer even a tiny fraction of the way LGBTQ people suffer at the hand of fascist laws.
