My jaw dropped at "The Mob Song"!!!!! Love it!!! So excited!!!

They were airing season 1 on the Disney channel last night. I just happened to see it by chance. I hope they might re-run it again. The first episode I started with was "Auditions" and I had a hard time keeping my eyes open for five hours straight no commercials. Especially with SNL and Toonami on afterwards, I kept passing out for a few minutes. I'm happy, because this is kind of what I was hoping would happen, that shows exclusive to Disney+ might show up on Disney Channel or Freeform occasionally after some time goes by.

I had no idea the new breakout artist Olivia Rodrigo was from this show until I saw you had her name written in the post above. I was going to say that I thought the girl who played Nini was the best part of the show, along with the redheaded girl. I'm happy for her that she's having success in the music world. Nini and the understudy girl remind me of Rachel v. Santana on Glee. The music teacher looked so much like Kristen Chenoweth.

I think it's great that they're airing it on Disney Channel!! Season 2 starts streaming in a few days, so surely it's to get more people knowledgeable about the show so maybe they'll sign up for D+. I'm glad you got to see some of it!! Olivia Rodrigo was on Disney Channel's Bizaardvark! before she was on HSMTMTS!! Kate Reinders, Miss Jenn on the show, actually DID play Glinda in Wicked!!

I'm so glad that this second season is obviously made for Disney fans.

She's from West High?! She infiltrated the East High auditions? WHAT IS GOING ON? And yeah, she has a great voice, but she is an awful person!

I loved the B&tB songs, and you are right that it's aiming for the Disney fans!

Episode 4!

-Poor Gina. She literally just told everyone the name of the song they'll be rehearsing, and Carlos is freaking out.

-But then in her monologue, she kind of feels how Carlos feels- they each want to be the only choreographer. Can they each choreograph different songs or something?

-LOL Ms. Jenn's iced tea repairman story!

-Ricky laughed at Gina's remark about Ms. Jenn's story and she had that flustered/distracted-for-a-moment look.

-I am guessing that Nini and Ricky will take a break and he and Gina will at least hang out.

I was wondering....

Now that Nini is staying, I wonder if she's going to be part of the musical... I mean, at the beginning she was the obvious Belle, but now that Ash has that part, I don't know what's going to happen... There's no more roles left...
