For those who were unaware, the "Descendants 3" team of Kenny, Dove, Sofia, Booboo and Cheyenne were on "Celebrity Family Feud" last night, taking on a team from the ABC series "American Housewife."

The result?
The "Descendants 3" team won a come-from-behind nail-biter by the score of 361 to the "American Housewife" team's 211. However, Dove and Sofia did not achieve the required 200 points in the "Fast Money" bonus round to win the top prize of $25,000 for their charity, The Make-a-Wish Foundation. A $10,000 donation will still be made.

The full episode (the Descendants 3/American Housewife match is in the second half of the episode) can now be seen on Hulu.

There's going to be a Hades-focused short.

Expect more videos akin to Under the Sea: A Descendants Short Story in the months after Descendants 3’s release. “This year, we have a video based on Hades (Cheyenne Jackson) and the girls,” Rogers Doyle teases. “Then, later this year, we’ll have a bigger, content-driven one.”

i thought it was cute, I liked Cheyenne's take on Hades and liked his chemistry/relationship with Mal(Dove Cameron ). Wish Kristen Chenoweth had been brought back, I would have liked some scenes with Maleficent and Hades.

I wish Ben had been a Beast for a bit longer, it ended too quick, and Mal never really got to see him full Beast mode.

I happened to catch a few scenes of the film while it was on last night, and I noticed that in the treasure room with magical objects, the Black Cauldron was included. Not sure if it was prevalent or not to the plot (I'm guessing not) but it was a nice little easter egg nevertheless. I wonder why Disney is so afraid of this film to the point that they won't even release it on Blu-Ray but they're willing to acknowledge it here.

I saw some of the third one this morning. I thought it was weaker than the first two, but the ending sets up a better plot. It's a shame they won't be able to explore Carlos and Cruella, if there is a 4th one.

I haven’t really liked any of the music for these movies, except Chenoweth’s song in the first movie got stuck in my head. Even cheesy and bad, it's an earworm. “Rotten to the Core” is okay. I mean, I’m not trying to be an old man shouting “get off my lawn,” but HSM at least had a couple of songs per movie I liked even if I wouldn't exactly call them great songs.

I LOVED Audrey as the villain![/quote] I think Evie is my favorite character because she's a fashion designer, she decided to do math her own way and did well, and she likes to do good and make peace even when Mal can't. And poor, cute Chad! lol I like him, too, even though he's a bad guy. I liked all the songs, I actually thought they were pretty great except the first one, the knight one, and the ending one. But what was up with Celia doing the stupidest thing she could have, extinguishing the ember? I mean, come on, you are kind of trapped in a place with a bad guy running around and you get rid of the only thing that can stop them?! And that's another thing, what was up with the rules seeming illogical? Only an ember can stop the staff's powers, but they use kisses and spells and magic water to undo a lot of the staff's magic?! Also, is the ending not perhaps the stupidest and most irresponsible decision of all? Why not just round up the villain's kids and open the barrier for them, but leave the villains, who have proved they need to be kept from society?!! Am I missing something? Anyway, aside from all that, I really liked this movie! I mean, even the things I thought were stupid made for great drama and feelings. I like this whole series!

There was another one? Oh what I get for beige watching Deep Space Nine and Voyager. Where was Aurora when Audrey started causing trouble? Where were the other princesses besides Belle? On a deep space probe frozen for 500+ years?

No one knows why we don't see the other original princesses.

Kenny Ortega: I think Descendants could live in another capacity. Personally, I would hope that Descendants 3 is the culmination of this particular part of Descendants but that's not to say that it can't be picked up and imagined in a different capacity. There are a lot of heritage characters out there.
