Same thing, with no edition reference.

Thanks! Does it also mention "for a limited time only" like the US counterpart?

Gosh, I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure that it did. It is a really good trailer though, I must say. And the film looks stunning.

Is this the same thing that has happened to Bambi in the UK? The blu-ray is still available but without the diamond banner.

Is Disney ditching the vault policy in Europe? There are so many strange releases coming out.
Or can we expect no more gold/platinum/diamond/titantium/topaz/ruby/redstone editions?

There are strong hints that Disney is abandoning the Vault policy in Europe altogether. I read some days before that Disney Germany (I think), expects all major Disney titles to be available by 2015.

That was definitely not Disney Germany. Their answer to everything is "we have no information"

I saw the trailer and I agree, Sleeping Beauty looks incredible. Is it the same transfer as 2008?

Unless I have two screenshots next to each other, I can't tell.

I'm upset Disney is looking at ditching Vault releases in Europe. At least Disney can save on bonus features. We won't see them any more. :|
Guess I'll have to get more US releases. Thankful I hacked my DVD players.

For the sake of owning the Diamonds 'proper' I'm ordering them all from Amazon.com (through UD of course), as Disney have well and truly given up over here. Please Mermaid got in there though before the line was abandoned.

ok so I heard Hercules and Tarzan were slated to come out this year in the US at some point on blu-ray..and then maybe Aladdin and 101 Dalmations in 2015? I was curious about some others if there was ever a plan to release them on blu-ray: The Black Cauldron, Fun And Fancy Free, The Spirit of Mickey, Melody Time, Make Mine Music, Three Caballeros, Pooh's Heffalump Movie, Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie, Piglet's Big Movie, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, Disney's Halloween Treat just to name a few ;-).......

I think I'll start doing that now. I wish importing wasn't so expensive. That's why I've avoided it so far.

If you go through amazon.com, it doesn't wind up being that expensive really. Well, not cheap but not crazy money.

Brazilian cover-art and specs, courtesy of Blu-ray.com: http://www.disneymania.com.br/wp-conten ... nuncio.jpg

Can anybody here read Brazilian? Those special features for Hercules speak for themselves, but what are all the ones listed on Tarzan and how do they compare to the 2-disc special edition from way back when?

I cant read Brazilian(Portuguese) but I can read Spanish & can try guessing some of these:

- deleted scenes
-history of development(I think) personas of Tarzan(I guess they mean the characters), animation production, story history, publicity, Disney encyclopedia, audio commentary
-music and more, making of the music, theres a song demo in there, & the rest is pretty much music videos & lotsa Phil Collins. :P

I think its stuff imported from the collectors edition.

of course wth Hercules they didnt even bother...

daaaang kylemj beat me to it!

That is so sad if that's really all we get; especially for Hercules. I guess they know we'll buy it anyway, so why bother? That really makes me so sad. Frozen had restored the faith in Disney I had lost over the last few years and it's sad to be reminded again that they are first and foremost an ever-growing global corporation that does not need to be bothered with details because if a mediocre product sells, a mediocre product is shipped to the stores (again, I thought Frozen was an excellent product and it made them way more profit than they could even anticipate because it was excellent).

So, no new art (should I bother crossing my fingers on that one?) and 0 new features. Seriously, we all own the DVD set and Hercules is on Netflix in HD, should I skip the most anticipated home video release they've had in over a decade?

Hopefully (and wishful-thinking, border lining in delusion here) those are only ones that are advertised. Or are fake. Or we get something different in other regions.

Seems like Tarzan is a step up from the European release. Totally buying it when it comes out. Hercules I'm skipping as I already have the UK release and the extras are the same there.

Well I wasn't really expecting to get any bonus feature on Hercules given the previous Blu Ray releases of Lilo and Stitch and other films but yet I'm still disappointed nevertheless.

Just noticed some BD deals on Amazon, prices from $10.99 - $14.99 on the Hunchback, Brother Bear, and Rescuers 2-packs, plus Sword in the Stone, Robin Hood, Many Avd of Winnie the Pooh, and Roger Rabbit.

Actually, it does say that there's the making of Hercules, a Ricky Martin music video and a sing along song with "Zero to Hero". Hardly a tonne of bonuses (and all from the previous DVD), but they've got some at least.

^thats what I meant though, they didnt bother adding anything new from the very paltry bonuses in the dvd.

of course its not surprising. To them its just another 2d animated flop thats only good for babysitting. :|
