Is this official artwork?

3D? Is it going to be in 3D??!!?!

3D seems highly unlikely for a movie from Walt's era, although Sleeping Beauty would look stunning in 3D! The most beautiful and visual of all Walt's movies would be a vision to see in 3D.

We should not completly believe those pictures. They can be fan-made, you never know. But if it is real it is a beautiful cover art and Sleeping Beauty in 3D would be something really spectacular. By the way Bdonjo, where did you find the photos?

3D would be very spectacular indeed! But that is very disappointing artwork though, as it's the Platinum cover squashed to one side.

It wouldn't really shock me if they did use this artwork as Disney Markeing is quite lazy when it comes to these re-releases of great Disney Films. Also I really don't see them releasing this in a 3D Blu Ray. Disney barely released the 3D Blu Ray of Little Mermaid and now apparently the Frozen one has been postponed.

I know disneyboy20022, Disney home media are possibly the laziest department in the whole of Disney at the moment. Just thought they may have jazzed it up slightly from the Platinum. All of the past couple of releases have had them, or at the very least, retooled versions of previous art. This isn't even retooling, just squashing everything on one side!

IMO, this is the only Walt era DAC that would look good in 3D. The detail on this movie would transfer really well in 3D. It could be awesome.

Sleeping Beauty in 3D....and Funko finally making "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" POP! vinyls...are 2 things I'm really looking forward to in 2014!!

I chose not to believe in this covers 'cause I definitely did not waited several years just to get it with that blueish cover
how about we get some forks and torchs and go chase some people at Disney?

Yep, I saw those! Cannot wait to own the Scoobies in Pop form.

Europe won't be getting a Blu/DVD combo that's for sure. We also won't get 3D if there is one. Didn't get one for TLM.

I also wouldn't expect a 3D/Blu/DVD/Digital Copy/Music mega version - anywhere. Too much money on Disney's part. I think those covers are most likely to be fan made, my opinion. I expect Disney will get their moneys worth out of an unused platinum artwork.

Yes, think they still do. We just get diddly squat now, for the same price.

Other animation companies aren't as mean; even the Despicable Me plain old DVD came with a digital version !!

So, is that the official artwork for the Diamond Edition Blu-ray? I know Disney gets lazy, but this is ridiculous.

I don't think so. It hasn't been confirmed as far as I'm aware. Just that it's coming this year. I would take them with a large pinch of salt.

But do expect sideways titles.

On my TV I can simulate 3D with any movie and I did it with sleeping beauty and I have too say it was utterly disney heaven seen it in 3D

I still have that VHS (and the Lady & the Tramp release). By far my favorite cover art for Sleeping Beauty.
