I wish Disney would make an Epic Mickey movie. I loved the idea of the In search of Mickey Mouse movie Idea. Heck I'd like to see a new short featuring Mickey in preferably in traditional 2D Animation

Indeed. And let's remind ourselves that Michael Eisner ruining Disney is in the past.

I both play Epic Mickey 2 and Power of Illusion, and they are both awesome! And I declare That Disney should of make a movie and tv series of Epic Mickey. On one condition though. Based on what I see on Power of Illusion, I would like to see Minnie Mouse included. And I like to see the real Donald, Daisy and Goofy included. The animatronic versions of Donald, Daisy, and Goofy are adorable, but I prefer to see the real Donald, Daisy and Goofy in the tv series. I just hope Mickey Mouse Clubhouse ends in 2015 or 2016.

I guess Mickey and friends is stuck in the preschool prison in the next hundreds of years! Warren Spector, I have something to say to you.......<iframe width="420" height="315" src="

How is it Warren Spector's fault that the game didn't do as well as the first?
What's making you say this anyways?
EDIT: Oh, just saw the post in the Epic Mickey thread. Nevermind. But it's not Spector's fault.

Why are people at fault? The game flopped for a reason.

Don't forget, he blames Family Guy due to the drawings getting killed, similar to Sarah Palin's reaction to the down syndrome joke on the said show.

Because Warren and his team didn't try hard enough. From what I hear he was more hands off this time around anyway. This isn't about the appeal of Mickey, it just didn't address enough issues people had with the first.
Anyway, Jessica Borutski (artist who did the Looney Tunes Show character redesigns and worked on storyboards for it) posted these on her Facebook.
She says it was just for fun, but the fact that she will no longer be working on the Looney Tunes show combined with this, the conspiracy theorist in me can't help but wonder if she left that to work with Disney. I'm pretty sure that is not the case, but but it'd be interesting if it were.

Hmmmm Interesting, but I'll try not to get my hopes up just yet. Although it kind of cheer me up a little bit. Thanks.

People don't care about licensed games. Also, didn't the game get lukewarm reviews? I'm pretty sure most games only sell well if they get rave reviews.

That's a pretty black and white way of looking at it. Especially when it comes to kids who don't necessarily care or know about reviews, they just see a character they like on the box. You have to also look at budget as well.
But yes, word of mouth can kill sales, and the word of mouth just wasn't very good with this. I mean, the fact that it was developed as a wii game, yet doesn't use the Wii remote on the Wii U version was a stupid mistake. I'm sure there's a lot of little things like that that add up.

I hope so too. So I guess despite of Epic MIckey 2 as a commercial failure, there's still hope for Mickey Mouse to get out of the preschool prison.

Before too many jump on this bandwagon I really wouldn't say that thus any real indication that's there's even a chance this is part of anything official.
For some context, on the Mickey pic a commenter said this.
First Tom Ruegger, Sherri Stoner and Alfred Gimeno went to Disney to work on 7D, and now you're going there.
in response Jessica said
?? no I'm not I'm just drawing Mickey Mouse
No winky faces or anything so I doubt she was just being coy about it.
Really, in all likelihood its nothing more than fan art done by someone who happens to be a professional in the industry. She also has a sketches of Oswald and babs (from tiny toons) but again, just fan art. Wasn't intending to mislead, I just thought they were too awesome to not post.
Of course if it did ends up happening I'll be the first to take credit for calling it. haha
But this is how rumors start so I want to make sure I don't overstate things.

Ah great! What does it take to get Mickey and friends out of the preschool prison?

There is no hope. No hope at all!
