Hey,I have aspergers' syndrome and I kinda of enjoy it because of the fact it kinda of makes me a little unique from a lot of people.

Besides I heard a lot of aspergers' syndrome people have been known to be very creative and that could be a good thing espically if you want to be some real creavity into the cartoon show market.I mean I feel that we need more shows that have crazy premises but can actually work as a good show.

Besides, I think it's much more respectful to treat people with such a disorder no different than I would treat people without a disorder. Just because somebody has a disorder is not an excuse to behave inappropriately.
Why would you assume that the people who you perceive to be exhibiting an inappropriate and obnoxious behaviour are using their disorder as an excuse? Isn't it more plausible that the obsessive behaviour they are displaying is the product of their disorder?

For argument's sake, let's say that there are people who use their disorder as an excuse so as to behave irreverently without having to face any repercussions. How can you tell between those people and the people who are actually compelled due to their disorder to act in such a manner?

I just want to apologize everyone about what I shouldn't say what disorder I have and annoying you people about my obsession to get DIsney to make an animated series of Mickey Mouse and friends on Disney Channel. I snapped out of it now. Once again, I do want to thank you all for voting yes on ending Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. But I will still have hope for Disney to make an hand drawn animated series of Mickey Mouse and friends. So again, I apologize.

because that is the case with many, especially on the internet. I take it you never heard of Chris-chan then?

Easy. Look at Dr. Frankenollie. I believe he told us he has it too, yet do you see him whine and fret like a little child over most insignificant crap and then later use his disability as an excuse? To me, it's an easy way to get out of or avoid confrontation that you started.

If the person can't control themselves, then I don't think the internet is best place for them to be.

TsWade didn't even use his disorder as an excuse. He said sorry, this disorder has caused the thing you all have a problem with. He didn't say, I need to keep doing this, he said that what was happening was caused by his disorder, and nothing more. He hasn't done of the behavior we find objectionable since then, has he?

TsWade, you don't need to apologize for bringing up your disorder.

I'm Dutch. The Dutch are notoriously blunt. It's a national trait.
You should be using your nationality as an excuse for your behavior.

Ba-zing!

He said he has a mild case. It doesn't control him like it does indeed control others.

Also, telling people that you have an excuse could actually have the opposite effect of allowing their behavior. It would let people know that they have a disorder causing their behavior and therefore their behavior is not "normal" and they should be told to stop.
Super Aurora wrote:If the person can't control themselves, then I don't think the internet is best place for them to be.
It may not be the best place, but you also can't say that only certain people should be allowed on the internet. Lots of people with lots of problems should be allowed on, just moderated.

Not on UD it doesn't. :D

I said "some". Let's leave it at that and not make a big drama out of it.

Oh, and one thing: 'even' people with a mental disorder know they should stop obnoxious behavior after they've been called on it a few times. I mean, they can read, can't they?

We're off topic. Let's get back on topic. Disney must make an animated tv serie starring Mickey Mouse and friends for kids of all ages and kid in all of us. Like this one for example: <iframe width="1280" height="720" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-0j4aUdsLt4" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Hey everybody,

I have the most greatest joyous goooooooooooooood news! Bill Farmer the voice of Goofy, Pluto, Horace Horsecollar, & et cetera and so forth, was on twitter and confirms that this season's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse will be their final season. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! :pink:

Finally, Mickey and friends are free from that miserable clubhouse! Which they already did.

Oh I'm so happy I feel like having a cookie and Fanta Soda. YAAAAAHOO!

Sorry, I'm just happy.

There's something I don't get though. Bill Farmer said that they did 6 years worth of episodes. Does that mean they've produced so many episodes ahead, they will last until season 6?
Q: Why is the show ending? Do you know?

Bill Farmer: We did 6 yrs of episodes & that's as many as Disney's going to do on a series. Shows will run/ rerun for many years.

I think Farmer meant that the show (or at least the voice work) was in production for six years altogether, from 2006-2012. Presumably, this includes the three previous production blocks (which made up seasons 1 to 3), and the fourth-and-final one, the current season. Hence how four seasons can run within six (well, seven) years.

I hope it runs for a long time more in reruns. It's my young niece's favorite show, and I enjoy watching it with her too.

Anybody else confirm that? By the way, I like Bill Farmer.

It may have reruns, but their ending. They can stay in the Disney Junior Channel where they belong.

I really don't care about Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, but I do have a problem with it: how frequently they rely on the Mouseketools. I know it's a preschool show and everything, but it seems like they have to solve every little problem with a Mouseketool.

"Oh, no, Pluto got stuck in a well! Let's use a Mouseketool to get him out!"
"I can't open this jar of pickles! Maybe a Mouseketool will help me!"

I don't watch MMC and had to look up what a Mouseketool was. I didn't expect it to look like one of those toys with a wheel of pie slices filled with pictures and a spinning arrow.

Those tools are, 95% of the time, not even real tools! Apparently, they like to use such terms like "tools" very loosely.

Anyway, another issue about the show is something that is touched upon in a review of one DVD release of the show, which is a lack of any true concern. The review states and I quote:

While this isn't an issue when the conflict of the day is a simple one, it becomes more glaring when the story raises the stakes (such as the "Sleeping Minnie" episode included on this disc). The characters react appropriately worried about a predicament, but then suddenly drop it and become cheerful again when addressing the audience. While it's understandable that the producers don't wish to pressure children for answers or give them anxiety attacks, a little more consistency and threat would help lend some weight to the proceedings.

What's going on? I thought the show was ending, but they've continued to do episodes to this day. Last month, they did that one about Goofy's pirate grandfather (voiced by Dick Van Dyke), and now they're doing another episode, this one about Mickey Mouse's birthday! Didn't Bill Farmer mention a year ago that the show was ending? What gives?

You have to consider that animated shows take an average of 9 months to create an episode. Bill Farmer was likely talking about the final day of line recording, but there's still the production process which takes a while. There's likely an entire back-catalogue of finished episodes Disney is airing. Once the final package is done, it will just be reruns from now on.
