Disney doesn't use region codes on Blu-rays anymore (the last release they did was afaik TPatF)
Really? That's great. Thanks for answering the question!

yeah and the dvd looks really bad, nothing special about it. The movie is treated like some kind of rubbish here...not what it deserves, because it's really good old disney again

Blu-ray Bonus Features:

-Exclusive bonus short “Mini-Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: The Balloon” – In this charming short, Pooh comes up with a daring plan to get a hold of some honey by fooling a group of bees.

-“The Ballad of Nessie” - The animated short film included in the theatrical release is the heartwarming tale of how Nessie found her new home in the Loch Ness.

-“Winnie the Pooh and His Story Too” – A fun and informative behind-the-scenes look at the film, designed for the whole family. Hosted by John Cleese (narrator of the film), and with occasional help from Pooh himself, this featurette explores Winnie the Pooh‟s history from his beginnings as a character in a book, to his continued life in the movies. The filmmakers reveal how they worked to keep the look of the characters and settings in this movie consistent with their first appearances on-screen in 1966. Pooh, being a bear of very little mind, finds much of this confusing, but the Narrator and the filmmakers make it all clear to Pooh – and you!

-Deleted Scenes introduced by directors, Stephen Anderson and Don Hall – 5 deleted scenes including “The Tummy Song,” “”Rabbit‟s Friends and Relations,” “Original Eeyore Intro,” “Original Tigger Intro” and “Pooh Searches for a Tail”

-Sing-Along with the Movie – Follow the red balloon and changing word colors to seven song lyrics featured in the film.

-Disney Song Selection – “Winnie the Pooh Theme Song,” “The Tummy Song, “A Very Important Thing To Do,” “The Backson Song,” “It‟s Gonna Be Great,” “Everything is Honey” and “The Winner Song Finale”

DVD Bonus Features:

-“Mini-Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: The Balloon”

-“The Ballad of Nessie”

-Deleted scenes introduced by directors, Stephen Anderson and Don Hall – 3 deleted scenes including “The Tummy Song,” “”Rabbit‟s Friends and Relations” and “Pooh Searches for a Tail”

I'm so excited for this! But most of all, I just wish they'd announce Many Adventures! I don't know if I can handle not knowing if it'd ever released :S

It'll probably be out next year because (1) it'll have it's 35th Anniversary in 2012; and (2) Disney probably doesn't want to confuse buyers (I know, they think we don't understand for some reason) because they'll think it's the same product.

But anyway, Amazon emailed me and told me the Blu-ray for Winnie the Pooh will be shipped to me between Halloween and November 4th, so I hope to have it by then and watch the DVD (my Blu-ray player on my computer still isn't working).

I like that post :) Is it currently OOP?

I remember reading that its a really strong dvd seller, perhaps thats why they didn't release it as a 2 movie pack so as not to cannibalise sales. Anyhow I'm excited too!

Amazon has it listed as being out of print; so yeah, I'm thinking there's a strong chance we'll see it next year.

Unfortunately, they have it right. The average parents who use Pooh as a babysitting tool, will not understand the difference.

I bought the BD today :D

The “Mini-Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: The Balloon” is in actual fact a segment from Many Adventures in HD! It looks really great, although the colours seem off. Nevertheless, I hope its a clue for a Many Adventures BD early next year.

Granted we're getting Pocahontas, Pocahontas II, Lady and the Tramp DE, Lady and the Tramp II, The Lion King 1 1/2, and The Lion King 2 before summer in 2012 I doubt that Many Adventures will come out in early 2012. It might make a nice late summer release or fall release though!

They might put "Many Adventures" in the spot where "The Fox and the Hound" was this year. That would be nice.

If we're gonna equel next year to this year, I'm thinking The Rescuers will get a 2-Movie Collection a la Fox And The Hound, or Pocahontas might.

Many adventures might be released october, like this years Winnie The Pooh.

I'm thinking we're getting
- Cinderella / Cinderella 2 / Cinderella 3
- Lady And The Tramp / Lady And The Tramp 2
- The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh
- The Rescuers / Rescuers Down Under
- The Lion King 2 / The Lion King 3
- Pocahontas / Pocahontas 2

Gonna be a crowded year as is, and I think there might be a surprise release coming as well, like Lilo And Stitch or Hercules.

I hope we also get Return of Jafar / Aladdin & the King of Thieves in time for the Aladdin Blu-ray!

Wow, there are just soooo many HD clips of Many Adventures in the documentary too, it looks as if it's already been restored or never needed a new one.

The deleted scenes are absolutely great. Most of them are partially animated, some of them are completely animated, whilst the only story board one is Rabbit's Friends and Relations, which is, which is my favourite, it's just sooo cute! I wish they didn't cut it out, it wouldn't made the movie just the perfect length.

I really like the menu too, much better than Tangled's, it showcases all the characters its full of new animation, or perhaps animation from the credits, I'm not sure.

The HD quality is amazing, sooo much more crisp then it was in the cinema. I'm glad to have experienced both the soft cinematic experience as it didn't feel as digital, but then again, half my screen was blurry.

I agree in that we're probably going to get Many Adventures in 2012, I would also like to get Search for Christopher Robin too.

Going off topic a bit... I don't think we'll get Cindy 2 or 3 though. They'll probably be an early 2013 release, and as much as I'd love for The Rescuers and Down Under to be released I'd wager an Aladdin release first. There is a TON of talk about a 20th Anniversary Edition for Aladdin.
