Wow! That was fast! I was thinking of how flooded the post must be with presents and holidays cards and was thinking your gift would take at least a week to arrive. Glad to hear they made it safely to you. Have fun with them. Merry Christmas! :ariel:

1/3rd of the participants have thus far been gifted. Counting today, there are just ten mail days left to receive by Christmas! Keep those reports coming! There are definitely some cool exchanges going on and they're always fun to read about.

Well...I got my mail today on the way to the doctor for a migraine I have been having for a week so they gave me a shot of migraine medicine and hurts to sit down because of it...(im sure theres a joke in there somewhere in the migraine in my backside but anyway thats besides the point)

When I got the mail I was ecstatic because there was a USPS package with Mickey mouse and Pluto on it and it was red...so I figured it was my authentic Replica mickey mouse tail on order from dmr (just kidding) but it was my secret Santa Gift and it was from AwallaceUNC...and he sent me an Angels and Demons Blu ray (if that doesn't get me into the spirit of christmas idk what will :P ) and a cd of chrismast songs sung by....(If you can guess what artisist it is without reading the highlighted i'll give someone a pink elephant :P ) Amy Grant I think I'll enjoy the cd of Christmas songs a lot..and a little note pad that has Mickey and Minnie on it and a wonderful Christmas card which is Amy Grant inspired....

Thanks Aaaron and have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year :santa:

Still no gift on my end yet either (The mailman does not usually deliver packages on Mondays), but I did receive a nice $35 gift card to Target from a co-worker at my work.

Woohoo!! I'm glad you got it, Michael, and that you like it! I actually haven't seen Angels and Demons yet, despite having read the book and preferring it over The Da Vinci Code (the film adaptation of which I have seen). Buying the Blu-ray inspired me to want to see it soon, so that will definitely be happening by New Year. I hope the CD brings you some increased Yuletide spirit too!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! :santa:

Oh, and to my Secret Santa: I am out of town until the week of Christmas, so my gift may have already arrived, I just haven't been able to get it yet.

Here's a funny story for ya'll...

I woke up a few minutes ago and went to the post office. I go to my PO Box and find a package notice. I got very excited thinking it was my Secret Santa! So I went to the counter to claim my package. I get it, I rush home and I happily open it...when I realize that it was my Christmas present for my niece that I ordered from Amazon last week...

 :P

Oh well, the wait continues :p .

It has been one crazy and hectic holiday this year! However, it is always like a breath of fresh air during the season when the UD secret santa picks up :) All that gift giving and excitement even just talking about each others gifts as they open them. It's like Christmas morning spread out over several weeks!!

To add to the warm fuzzy feeling, I'd like to thank Julian Carter for sending me my secret santa gift this year. I got both Charlie the Lonesome Cougar DVD (which I have been eyeing for months and wanting to get for a LOOOONG time, now....I love the Rex Allen narrated Disney films!), as well as the book "South of the Border with Disney" which I am extatic about getting to sit down and read this holiday! Since I didn't get a chance to see "Walt & El Grupo" this is going to be chock full of suprises and the book itself is HUGE!!! It's gonna display beuatifully in my collection.

Thank you so much Julian Carter for your generosity and thoughtfulness this season. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!

p.s. I've put some extra thought into this year's secret santa, and I can't wait until my secret santa reports on their package :)

Yay! :D I'm so glad you're ecstatic about "South of the Border". I haven't read it myself, but the subject matter itself is fascinating. Also, it's said that Walt and El Grupo is more about Walt Disney's trip to South America, whereas the book is more about the actual films - which I think is a good thing. I think you're in for a rewarding read. :)

Also, your card is on the way, though it might take some time to get there. After all, it has to cross that rather large pond we call the Atlantic. :P

Merry Christmas!

Julian: If Santa can travel across the world in one night and hit every house with presents I think your card will make it just fine ;) .
