I'm really lucky on the program front...my parents kept the early ones for me (like the 1986 Donald Duck show) and I have programs for every Disney on Ice show I've attented since...must be around twelve to fourteen of them now...

'The Little Mermaid' was announced to tour Australia in 2001, but it was canceled due to the 9/11 events (safety concerns).

I might be going to my first Disney on Ice this November when the "Worlds of Fantasy" show comes to Vancouver.

I would have preferred "Princess Classics", but oh well.

Wow lucky you! Those must be worth quite abit now! That's a shame about TLM, I don't think it ever came to the UK but I don't understand why Though having said that I've been lucky in that Ariel has starred in a great many of that shows I've seen

Hmm yes that certainly has an intresting mix with Cars, Fairies, The Lion King and of course The Little Mermaid! I think this will be coming over here within the next two to three years probably. I heard that this is the first DOI Show to have a Pre-Show, what exactly is that all about. Something to do with showcasing the princesses dresses?

In recent years I've been really picky about the Disney on Ice shows I've decided to see...never attented "Finding Nemo", "Jungle Adventures" and those sorts of shows because I don't really enjoy those types of Disney movies.

I love all DOI shows, they are so magical!

I only saw Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast back in early 90's. someone I knew saw the disney afternoon characters one.

I went to see the Incredibles in the Magic Kingdom Adventure. It's Awesome! I can't wait to see the new Disney on ice very soon!

Wow, I don't care I'm 17. I may go see it! They better add Aurora in the finale. B/c when they say "All Princesses" sometimes (like 100 years of magic and Princess Wishes), they meant everyone except one Princess.

When was the last time they just focused on one film. While I was growing up I saw Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Toy Story. I also saw two "everything disney" shows like these, but the ones that were just based on the films were my hands-down favorites. I would've thought that Tangled would have worked well as a show on its own.

Yeah, a few months ago, I heard that Tangled MIGHT get its own ice show. But, I'm SO happy that Princess and the Frog will going to have its own session. But, I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO annoyed how Cinderella HAS to be in it! Good God, it's so annoying how they are pretty much making her the star, while the whole point of the show is to promoted Tangled and Frog. Can they just save Cinderella for the very end, and replace her with something new like Bolt (NOT SERIOUS, JUST AN EXAMPLE) or underappreachiated like Herecules (AGAIN, JUST AN EXAMPLE)

Toy Story 3. It came through New Orleans a few weeks ago, and I really enjoyed it There are multiple Disney On Ice productions that tour at the same time, so you may still have the chance to see Toy Story 3 On Ice, if it hasn't come to your area yet.

Funny enough, I am planning on seeing Disney on Ice: Toy Story 3 in June!

I guess I just haven't paid much attention to Disney on Ice for a few years. I don't really have any kids in my life right now to take to the shows. After posting I did remember that there was a Monsters, Inc. show that I wanted to go to because I LOVE that movie. I have a bunch of friends getting married this summer, maybe I'll start coxing them into making babies lol.

Not arguing, but you don't need kids to go to the Disney On Ice shows. I don't have or want kids, and I go every year! Disney is for both the young and the young at heart!

I would say if you really want to go, don't worry about what strangers at the show might "think" about adults without kids who are there (if that is a reason you don't want to go without kids). Life is too short to not do EXACTLY what you want, whenever you can!

Oh hello new emotions! Anyway, it's not only strangers. It's my brothers and sisters! They make fun of me for my love of Disney esepecially my sisters. So if I say during dinner (I ramble about stuff going on in my life during dinner), "Mom/Dad, can you take me to see Disney on Ice? Tiana and Rapunzel are in it! ", they'll be like, "OMG! YOU'RE SUCH A 2 YEAR OLD! "

Well, sadly they are just buying into the stereotype that a lot of people have that Disney is "kiddie". Sorry you have to deal with that, but I still say if its something you enjoy, not to worry about what others say or think, and do what makes you happy!

I guess I wouldn't mind going as an adult, but to me it isn't so much as a "these shows are for everybody" kind of thing as much as it seems like a "these shows are specifically geared towards children and not for everybody" kind of thing. Much like how a Princess show would be advertised towards little girls. It's not so much for a 24 yr old adult male, and there really isn't going to be anything in it specifically for an adult either. I would probably be going to see such a show for a different reason anyway though. I would like to go to see the actual skating, the sets, lights, costumes, and overall production...

The more I think about it, it's more that I would feel silly being there not so much that I'd care what other people would think. lol

If I can get a big group to go, I'd be a lot more happy.

I think the Disney ice capades would be something fun to do with the family . . . no kids yet but Rey's mom and sisters would probably enjoy it more than me. In fact we were hoping to go last year but found out about the available dates a little too late.

I haven't been to one myself since the early 90's. My mom and I went to a place near Chicago with a group and the show starred Ariel, Scrooge McDuck, Chip & Dale, Roger Rabbit, and a few others in some kind of time travel plot (I remember "Walk Like an Egyptian" was one of the songs). Quite the combination but it was a lot of fun, lol.
