It's in the middle. When Sebastian says 'there is more to this place than meets the eye', there is a room with mirrors and shiney things and all, and there is the music box. Ariel opens it, and remembers music and blabla, and they show Athene and Triton dancing and that scene with the piano.

Ok I gave in and watched the 5 min clip. It was pretty good up until Athena saves Attina and just "stands" infront of the ship in shock. And there is no body or anything? Infact the ship just dissapears all together by the time Triton gets back to the surface. I would have liked it better if Athena was saving Attina and somehow got caught by the pirates.
And since Attina is the last child to see her mom, it wouldve been interesting if they showed Attina feeling guilty for her mothers death, thinking because she was getting her out of harms way she didnt have enough time to get out of the way herself.
And we finally saw another mermaids whose top didnt match her tail. So its nice to know that Ariel isnt the only mermaid who goes for something different.

				I just saw the movie!
It was really cute, and the story was also very nice.
The animation is nice, but not as CIII's.
The beginning was the best part I think.
I can tell that, if you are a TLM-fan, you will like this movie.
Ariel is just the same as in the series en the first movie. If you liked her, you will now like her even more.
The sisters are all very funny. Like when one of the sisters says another stole her brush because her initials are on it.
They have great personalities.
Sebastian was also the same character as in the first one, but Flounder wasn't. He was more adventurous. Not the afraid fish he was in TLM I.
Athena doesn't get much screen time, but you hear a lot about her. One of the lines I liked was the one where Sebastian tells Ariel that
Athena wasn't only Triton's wife, but that she also was his best friend, It was really sweet.
Marina is also a really funny character.
(
but as said before, she isn't Ursula and hasn't got anything to do with her. She just wants a better job.)
One of the thing I also liked was
the part of your world (reprise) reference made by her. It's also the scene were Scuttle makes an cameo.
The songs were good for a pr/sequel, but not as good as the original ones off course. The most important songs in the movie are
Athena's song and
I remember. Those are the songs that are sung the most (reprises and stuff).
Just One Mistake is a nice song, but what I asked myself was, why does Marina sings when it is forbidden?
And why doesn't she get any problems with that?

I will Sing is the end song and is really short. It's about that everybody will sing (forever).
The music is nice, but not special.
So, as all the reviews said, it's one of the better sequels (not as good as Cindy III, but better than TLM II).
The story is cute and the animation is decent.
Go watch it when it's out in your country!
If you want to know anything, just ask me.

WOW. I think I nearly cried by the end of that preview of the first five minutes. Sure, the animation wasn't like "perfect" perfect, but it was nice and fluid. The moods really showed through for the characters, even the rather lovely (and sadly, short-lived) Athena was enjoyable to see and hear.
But now I can truly understand Triton for doing what he did. Sure, it sounds selfish, but I suppose that any song, even their special song that they shared, reminded him more of her. *weeps* Poor Triton, yes? He really needs a freakin' hug or something.
Now I want this even more. I think you guys have whet my appetite for this film! XD Thanks, Vermin Friends for finding this! *loves*
I also read the newest review - that was nice to read. I'm glad that so far it's getting fairly decent words of good stuff, despite it being a prequel to a popular Disney staple.
*wants Tuesday to get here already!*

I thought it was a good movie. The plot was a little bit childich, but it was better then the tv-series.
I really liked Marina's song (the piece where she changes all her outfits and Benjamin goes like 'oew-oew') and the reprise was amazing. Especially the part where she sits on the rock from Part of your World with Scuttle.
If someone likes, I am willing to post any clips on youtube.
Just say what part of the movie.

				Haha. Lol.
I like the songs better than in TLM2.
There are a lot of songs. Let me list them up.
- Athena's song
- One Mistake
- Jump in Line
- I Remember
- A song I don't know in the club
- One Mistake Reprise
- Jump in Line Reprise
- I will Sing
- I will Sing Reprise
Athena's Song is much used instrumental. It's beautiful.

Actually yes I did see that, what I mean is go more in depth, what made it so powerful? Anybody can write just one line like that. Look at my post where I reviewed the first five minutes, or even Sirens we both went and said more than just "wow great film" or "it's a really poweful introduction".
Apparently it's too much to ask for people to extrapolate these days and by the way I find it ironic your saying I don't listen to you since I feel as though your not really listenting to me, more like you sitting there going "oh there he goes again just nod my head and then continue on" I may have said negative things about what I've seen so far but I've been honest and I have shown some positiveness towards the film.

Agreed. If I said "It sucked" you would be all over me about it. And maybe if I heard more details from the positive side, it would open my eyes to see something about it I didn't notice before.

The opening was nice, although I thought that we should have seen more of Athena. And her dead isn't logical. She get
smashed between a rock and a ship, why doesn't she swim away?
But I cried (almost)
What I didn't like whas at the end, it's just like images and dark spots between the frames. I think it would have been better if it would just roll on. If you know what I mean.
Marina and Scuttle
I've been uploading the entire version of One Mistake and the Reprise. Soon it will be on Youtube and I will link you guys.
Edit: Here it is:
