I didn't see at first that we had a list to choose from, so just omit the ones on my list that aren't acceptable. I thought the films just had to be animated. (or the Pixar films would have taken a few slots) Thanks

Okay, with today's wide US release of Brother Bear, we now have 43 animated classics to choose from. Come up with an ordered list of your 10 to 20 favorites. As long as you have at least 10 and no more than 20, you're fine. No ties or half-votes.
You can either e-mail me (tsdvd at yahoo.com) your list or post it here. If you e-mail/PM me your list, please post in this thread to let me know that you have voted.
Alright, thanks to all who voted. The votes are temporarily going into a Vault, to finalize counting and the plan is to countdown the results over the next two weeks or so. Though there aren't going to be too many surprises, I imagine, I still think this was an interesting drill and thanks to all who participated!

20 to 1, but it will be a couple per day until probably the Top 10, I'd guess.

I wonder why people say 'thanks' before their request has been granted...

No, you didn't make the deadline. But you were close enough, so I counted you.
Tangela, people say "thanks" before their request has been answered, because that's the way formal writing is done. If you're writing a letter to a business asking that some task be performed, you'd end with a "Thanks for your attention to this matter" kind of statement, anticipating positive response.

These are the only ones that I've seen recently enough to have a valid opinion of. Maybe I should state beforehand that I have an irrational resentment towards any of them made between the mid-1990s and today, and that I'm especially fond of the ones made prior to Walt Disney's death.
1. Peter Pan
2. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
3. 101 Dalmatians
4. Pinocchio
5. Bambi
6. The Lion King
7. Sleeping Beauty
8. The Sword in the Stone
9. Aladdin

Wow...um...why did you dig up this thread? Welcome to the forum, but the voting on this closed. Check the date of most of these messages: 2003. You just brought a thread that's almost two years old back to life.
I don't mean to sound cruel (I made the same mistake when I was new here), but the moderators and/or Luke are probably not going to be too happy about this.
