Lilo and Stitch.

I just didn't like it. I watched it because people said it was good but it didn't change my mind and still don't like it. Why are so many in love with that alien.

Hercules. Never found the appeal of it. I can watch it, but it'll never be a favourite of mine. I hate the style of it, and it's just too weird for me.

But yeah, as Escapay has said for The Lion King, it'll no come to know surprise to him(or a lot of people here in fact), I loathe this film. After 1.5 years of internet ranting, I still can't find what's to like about this formulatic buddy film with a long running time, lame "heart moving scenes" that failed to connect and repetitive humor(sorry "Escapay"). It's a pretty picture, but for it's gigantic success, I'm at an immediate loss. Well, that's my dislike for FN in a nutshell. :)

In fact, I think all 7 Pixar films are overrated, as they all share the same formula and repeat the same stuff over and over again. And to think Disney is unoriginal these days by the critics.
Absolutely right!! Toy Story is over-rated as well. Yeah, I know, it was the first fully computer animated feature film, but the story was absolutely lame and it wasn't really magical. Disney IMO always is something kind of magical, and it touches you in some way, but I never felt like that when watching a Pixar flick. It's all over-reated, that Pixar stuff.
Agreed. I think all Pixar's stuff is overrated, but Finding Nemo most of all. I've never met a single person who didn't like it. It makes me so upset when people sing its praises, because I really can't understand what they see in it. My mom really likes it, and I can't even get her to admit that Beauty and the Beast is a good movie! She thinks Nemo is awesome, but classics like BATB and TLM are "kids' movies." That pains me.

And I love Ellen Degeneres, but Dorry annoys the heck out of me! The whole short-term memory thing was so lame. I wanted to slap her when she was trying to speak "whale."

any computer animated film (be it from Pixar or from Disney or from another studio or whatever) that Disney has released

mostly Finding Nemo

The Lion King. I remember when it first came out, I kept hearing from critics and viewers alike, that it was the greatest Disney film of all-time. And I found the Elton John songs extremely annoying to begin with.

I agree, Finding Nemo is too over-rated! What's the deal with this movie? I'd like to see what people would say if they did it in traditional animation. "What? You like Finding Nemo! That's a kiddy movie!"

FN isn't even Disney! It's PIXAR. Don't argue this because it is a fact, and Disney only distrubuted FN. Though it is over-rated.

Oh, quite true. I forgot that. He he. Personally, I really can't think of any over-rated Disney. Only under-rated ones. But that's probaly just biased since I love them all.

Oh the hate towards Finding Nemo is too much to bare!

Seriously, Finding Nemo is one of my all time favorite animated films (as well as favorite film ever). I know that in terms of story its very simple and doesn't stand up against the epics, but the characters are so grand and alive I can't help but love them,

In my honest opinion, Pocahontas is a tad overrated. I mean the animation is good, the story is solid and the music is good, but I just don't see it as a fantastic movie, especially when movies that came before and after it are MUCH better than it, yet they give this a little more credit.

I also think Oliver and Company, as well as the Great mouse detective, are overrated. They are cute movies, but nothing special. In fact, I see them as being the Chicken Littles of the 80s (when I say that, I don't mean the movies are awful, I mean that they are cute movies that people will likely forget once a great movie is released).

The Lion King - It is an incredible film, but I don't think it's as great as people make it out to be. It's probably the most popular Disney film to date, but there are still many that are better in my opinion.

Cars - Meh, it was okay. It was a bit boring for me; I found myself not paying attention after the first 30 minutes or so.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - Okay, I understand why this one gets so much credit - it was Disney's first animated feature. But that doesn't take away from the fact that it's boring, boring, boring!

High School Musical - The epitome of crap.

Mack should have had more screen time. I'm sure he could have prevented some of the boredom; I liked him.

I also think Beauty and the Beast is overrated. Good movie, but not one of my favorites and not award-worthy.

Well, in addition to Nemo in my post way back...

The Princess Films: Well aside from Snow White(which gets mixed reactions on this forum) and Aladdin(which I personally don't see as a "princess" film) I'm just sick and tired seeing people only post posts about these overrated films acting like they're works of God. Ignoring the general public, most of the other films get no attention here on Ultimate Disney by most, which I'm very tired off. And frankly, I don't think they're that good. Cinderella I personally find a bore-fest, far more boring than Snow White. Sleepy Beauty is living proof that you don't HAVE to have a great story in order to be popular. The Little Mermaid, errrrr, well considering the slipcover humpers will jump at me if I explained in depth, I won't, but it's just so flawed, I can't believe such a bad film has gotten so much hype on UD. Beauty and the Beast... okay, I'll admit this is a great film technically speaking, and I can see why people love it and really enjoy it whenever I watch it and consider it among my favorites, but I still wouldn't call it "Disney's finest achievement" which most people seem to call it.

In addition to people only paying attention to princess related posts, I'm tired of everyone saying "Oh the magic will only come back to Disney if they make a princess film, I wany another The Little Mermaid, wahhhhh!!11!"

If Disney wants to make a movie about a princess that turns out to be great, fine, but don't force the animators and storymen to make a certain string of films. To be honest, none of my favorite Disney films are "princess films" (unless you count Aladdin as one, and BATB probably being an exception), so for me, I would rather see them tackle fun original ideas whatever they are, even princess films. If they have to make princess films though, just don't overdo them and make them with formulatic plots and whiney characters.
