I'm intrigued. I wonder what they will make of the Fantasia cover. Somehow I don't see it as the type of film that has the generic Disney cover. What main characters do you put on it? Mickey, Chernabog (don't see that happening) the mushrooms and the ostriches? Fantasia deserves more than that, I think.

It'll probably just be the singular image of Sorcerer Mickey that's been used on the VHS, laserdisc, and DVD releases.
It would be cool if they used the Mickey Clef (the treble clef modified to include Mickey's profile) from the Fantasia Anthology boxset.

Chicken Little - as much as Justin and I love the film, I just don't like the MIB ripoff/parody that they attempted. And the fact that 3-line Morkupine Porcupine got on the front cover while Abby Mallard didn't.
I already said this in another thread, but what the hey...
Even though Morkubine is my favorite character in CL, I do agree that Abby should have been in the cover picture. I'm surprised she wasn't.

Anyway, I had never noticed this thread before...

C'mon, you know who's going to be on the cover....
SUNFLOWER!!!
No, I'm kidding. Heck, we'll be lucky if she's even in the film. But seriously.... I'm willing to bet it'll be something classy and interesting, just like the film itself. If they do go with a character-based cover, maybe they'll do something like Fantasia 2000's original DVD cover, with a scene from each segment. If they do it based on cover, I would guess Mickey, Hyacinth Hippo, Peter Pegasus, Chernabog, and Hop Low.

That "Pocahontas" cover does look quite bland. I much prefer the lovely cover that we got here in Australia (depite Pocahontas looking slightly "cartoony"):

Our American 2-disc edition got something similar.
