Ultimate Disney Banners

Yes, this is a very cool one! I like how the red logos match the red roses, it all fits together beautifully. This is the first time we've seen seperate logos for the Disney and Dizzy parts of this site, it's kind of like the seperate sites are getting married, so if that was implied that's clever! However, I wonder how it will work for next banners.

Aww, that's cute!

For some reason, initially I wasn't too thrilled about the new banner, but now I really like it- I guess I just missed seeing Christmas Captain Jack...!

I prefer the previous one, mainly because it didn't have the Chipettes on it. Seriously, a Disney website has The Princess and the Frog's main competition (responsible for stealing its audience, no less) on its banner? Not a good way to represent the site, in my opinion. Ditto Planet 51.

I'm not a fan of the new banner either. I mean, the site is called "Ultimate Disney." Yes, DVDizzy is a part of it, too, but it's still good old UD. So why are only 3 actual Disney film being represented (from what I can see, anway)? And the main focus appears to be Mr. Fox. What's up with that?

I also liked the older banner better. The new banner doesn't have a lot of things to look at. When I first joined the site the old banner had so many movies to see. This one only has a couple things to look at. This one is also to animation filled. The other had a lot live action. Also much of this is old like Kiki,Chesire Cat, and Toy Story

I'm very confused as to what's old. KiKi's Delivery Service, Alice in Wonderland and Toy Story are all being rereleased soon, as in the future. As in, that can't be old if it hasn't happened yet. Generally, that's kind of how the banners go. Luke creates a banner in which there are images of certain films that are soon to be released on Blu-ray/DVD. Plus, it's called UltimateDisney.com/DVDizzy.com, so I don't know why everyone's complaining that it isn't strictly Disney. It's been DVDizzy for quite awhile now, and I'd think that people would get the hint that the site is soley meant for Disney products. Don't worry, Luke. I like the banner.

I agree, the composition makes sense- It's for Ultimate Disney and DVDizzy. Thanks for the new banner, Luke!

Of course, the best parts are the Disney and Pixar elements, but whatever.... :P

Buzz (from Toy Story trilogy)
Woody (ditto)
Shaun The Sheep
Naveen (from PaTF)
Chipettes (from A&TC:TS)
The Cast Of Everybody's Fine
The Cast of An Education
The Cheshire Cat (from AIW, duh!)
Tallahassee (from Zombieland)?
Characters from Planet 51
Character from Kiki's Delivery Service
Character from Ponyo?
Mr. Fox (from Fantastic Mr. Fox)
Characters From Old Dogs
Some Guy from A Serious Thing

The guy on the roof is from the Coen Brothers' A Serious Man.

I'm not too annoyed by the non-Disney stuff on the banner, just those damn Chipettes, which could seriously turn off people from thinking this is a serious site of film aficionados.

So may the cast of Planet 51. But I think that the banner represents all of the newer releases. Not just things that are popular among most UDers. Kids (like myself) visit this site too. If they just see "A guy on a roof", they will be turned away from the website thinking it's for "ADULTS ONLY".

The new banner's not bad, if a tad too cluttered. Though on the positive side, there's no Chippettes, which was my main beef with the previous banner as I have absolutely no idea why those irritating rodents were included in the first place.

Hey, look! It's Tarrant Hightopp! And... hmm... IDK, a bunch of other people. Huh. Weird. Oh, well, I guess it's not all that out of place anymore since the name changed. No one would ever suspect that this place is secretly some sort of hangout for Disney fans...

There are three Disney titles in the logo, making Disney the most-represented studio on the banner. The theme is titles being reviewed on the website and with Disney hardly releasing any DVDs or BDs this spring/summer, there's only so much to put on the banner!
