If that information can be trusted, I only have one thing to say:

Holy crap, a girl with a mother! :o

Omg thanks Disney Duster. If that information is real than it looks like it might actually become a good picture. I guess the girl falls in love with the brittish prince, because she ends up being a princess. Having an interracial marriage has not happend in a Disney movie before! *crosses fingers*

That piece of info was on animated-news as well, so I'm pretty sure its real.

I think it sounds good!

Wow! Reading over the information has me really excited. I think the the characters sound really interesting and fun. I also think it is great that there is an African American princess. My only hope is that it doesn't look like they just made her black to please people, I hope it really works well and she becomes a favorite. Hooray for "The Frog Princess" as the return to 2D animation! I hope they get some great voices for the movie.

Disney Duster wrote:The French really know how to find information. I went onto this French equivalent of our Disney Forum, Disney Central Plaza, and I found out the biggest information we ever could about this movie. I'm not entirely sure if we should believe it, maybe people who are smart and actually care about this movie can check the credibility? From Manhattan Theater Source Forum: Ummm...there was a former Disney Channel star named Shia LaBeouf, which looks like La Bouff. I'm just noticing.
Two things:
1. After reading and seeing that it takes place in the South, about African Americans, and even has a plantation owner, they better damn rerelease Song of the South!

2.Judging from what I read, look like this is going to be one big hip mood swing! Something Marc Davis' Chanclar should of been.
This is really starting to bother me...i cant really explain it. I mean its so uneasy for me to look at that cast list and see stereotype after stereotype after stereotype. I'm really worried that making this film in this fashion is gonna cause waaaaaay too much controversy. And we still dont know what the story really is exactly. All we got is some characters and it seems like they were made up at the last minute or something.
