Fantasyland Walkway Construction Towers Over Construction Wall
http://damouse.com/2012/07/05/fantasyla ... tion-wall/

The Fantasyland walkway construction project that will connect Fantasyland and Liberty Square, now towers over its nearby construction walls and one has to wonder whether this could be the rumored beginnings of Rapunzel’s meet and greet?
What do you guys think? It looks promising! I expect It will be like the Tower at Disneyland CA!

Oh my goodness ! Having Rapunzel's actual tower for a meet and greet would be INSANE !

It would be so wonderful if you could go up inside it, and see what it was like all the way through.

I found these, which seem to support the idea of a Tangled Themed Area, (Tangled Tower and Tangled Plaza)

I think it looks like a great idea, however...am I the only one that thinks it's going to create a huge bottleneck to have such a high traffic idea directly in front of one of the MK's most popular rides? Especially around the holiday times when the line for the Haunted Mansion is known to spill out beyond the front gates into Liberty Square. On top of the fact that you'd now have people exiting the Mansion directly into a huge mob of traffic of people coming to and from Fantasyland that way.

well with fantasyland being much bigger now, I think that will also ease up on the traffic issue of west end of fantasyland.

Also when you want to come AIM?

True, it will be bigger, however the way the park is laid out there will still be the same four ways you can access Fantasyland - from Liberty Square, through the Castle, the bridge from the hub, and from Tomorrowland.

Having been at the MK around the holiday times when literally it's nothing but wall to wall people everywhere, I can't see how it's going to really help. Yes, the way to get from Liberty Square to Fantasyland is a congested little tunnel underneath the Columbia Harbour House - however, it's at least a high traffic area that's out of the way.

But, looking at where they're planning on putting the new walkway, it's directly in front of the mansion. Look closely at the aerial picture of where they're planning on putting it. You can see the queue switchbacks for the Mansion directly in front of where that walkway is going to empty out. I have seen around Christmas the line of the HM fill up all of those switchbacks out in front of the gate and extend down to the river. Now, add on top of that a very high traffic area with hundreds of people coming from Fantasyland, who will have to walk into that little corridor between the Yankee Trader and the HM gates, and make a very sharp left to get into Liberty Square. Not to mention on top of that, you'll have people exiting from the HM directly into that large crowd that'll be coming from the opposite direction.

Hopefully my prediction will be wrong. I just imagine it'll cause a big clusterf*ck knowing how crazy that area of Liberty Square gets around the holidays :p

And I should be on again later tonight after I get back home if you want to chat :)

It makes me sad, knowing they'll never include any fun stuff based on The Black Cauldron.

The Cinderella Castle Mystery Tour looked great... :(

(It Opens on my Birthday :D :D !)

It may not be a M&G though, as Rapunzel is set to make appearances in the new Princess Fairytale Hall.
guests will proceed to elegantly finished rooms to meet Aurora, Cinderella and other Disney princesses, such as Tiana and Rapunzel

I have read somewhere that this area maybe only be "Tangled themed" If that is the case we won't have to worry about the overflow of guest from HM.

Also here is some concept art of Pete's Silly Sideshow!

Also I'm glad they are adding grass to the top of Little Mermaid, I think it will blend great with the rest of the forest.

Ok, Belle's cottage looks amazing !

They have 100% taken inspiration from Harry Potter though, but in the best way possible. Attention to detail is amazing!

I read that Mickey will not be there; instead, he will continue to be at the Town Square Theater on Main Street. It's almost as if his friends have betrayed him for his old nemesis, Pete. Because it seems as though Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy have all betrayed him, do we know what characters are going in the space vacated by the princesses at the Town Square Theater once the princess meet-n-greet at Fantasyland opens?

Goodness, this expansion is just getting better and better ! I am so glad Tangled is getting an area; it really and truly deserves it.

I am only sad about Pixie Hollow going. Now that is a shame.

A year later, I'm still heartbroken about Aurora's cottage, being scrapped. To think we'll finally have a Sleeping Beauty thing.     Plus, she's my favorite Princess.

Oh, here's the portrait of Belle and her mother:
