It seems kind of lame posting mine after that 4000 DVD one, but here is the disc camp (sans the Collector's Gift Set and the Three Musketeers with Mickey Plush which is on another shelf).
Prom Night is sitting on top of the Treasures for some reason

:
Most of the rest of the collection can be viewed here, but the collection has become a bit scattered these days (wherever stuff can fit really).

I also have my review discs in a big folder somewhere (about 200 + of those, as I hardly ever receive cases for them), plus there are a quite a few more above the Disney collection which I haven't happy snapped yet.

I feel so...inferior now. 4000 dvds, as opposed to my 360ish
(Side now, Jane was over my shoulder and remarked, "Inferior? Oh come on! I only have 4 DVDs!" )
Anyways, here's just my Disney ones:
Zulu, King of the Dwarf People

Nice collections Loomis and Ultimatemovie4000Guy!
UltimateGuy-I like your total disregard for the slipcovers and cases
ex: Toy box and such are loose...Snow white has a white case( hey that makes more sense!) from a treasure box I presume.....so you save em thoug?
you could make some cash on here with all those slipcovers and boxes
Loomis - are some of those R1? I cant tell the difference all the time. I keep all my Pixar together too

they are still in a class unto themselves i think.
Did you buy anything while you were in the States?( I'm sure you already spent tons just on the trip, but I would love checking out a DVD store if I went overseas)

There is a good mix of R1 and R4 there (and the odd R2). The ones that have a yellow strip on the top or have a little G symbol in a triangle on the bottom of the spine tend to be R4. Naturally, the Treasure tins; the SEs on the bottom shelf and the Fantasia and Toy Story boxes are R1, as well as a few others.
That photo was taken before I went away, and I bought
Lilo & Stitch 2 in the US (it came out while I was there, I think) and I bought a
Disneyland Park exclusive DVD. I bought a few other films there (the last wave of Universal Horror things like
Creature from the Black Lagoon etc; and
Open Range 2-Disc). However, as you guessed, much more was spent on other aspects of the trip. I've also picked up a few new ones since I've been back... new photo coming soon

Nice collections!
Holy moly ultimatefilmfan, what a collection! With a collection like that I would make the ultimate home theatre room. Not that there is anything room with the room you have but I would have a bar, a fountain drink machine and well I would go on but I would get into major daydreaming.
You must have some major money or possibly you have no clothes and the rest of the house is empty but whatever I wish you were my next door neighbour haha.
Everytime I see this thread pop-up I get s ome motivation to post my collection but I have still yet to do so. One reason why: because I am behind on my DVDs... I have yet to get Cinderella, Toy Story (10th anniversary) and the Batman anthology and many more so I feel embarrassed!).

I'm going to have to start a thread called "Post a photo of your non-Disney DVD collection".

When I post mine I'll put it all in here though and others do that so I'm not sure if it is really needed but hey, the more dvd collections the better!
I like getting ideas from seeing others so I can eventually display them in the 'ultimate way'.

Great Collection Loomis and Escapay believe me it's better to have a small collection then a big collection when you won’t have all the time to see all the movies.

Yea, but look at all the movies his kids can watch!
Hey, I'm happy with my collection and my new car. LOL
New car? When?

Nice collections everyone! I like looking at the pretty covers!

Soo many DVDs...really makes me want a wall of DVDs so I can pull a Belle and use a ladder to get DVDs! (would be fun!

Escapay, what's that 1-disc treasure in between CCF: Volume 9 and Treasure Island?

It looks like 'Song of the South' to me.
...can't wait until it comes to DVD. If it doesn't come by the end of 2006 or atleast officially announced I'll buy a bootleg copy though.

As I said, some are tucked away in various places, and there is at least half that many again in various cupboards and shelves. I have to find a good "display" for those ones

Yep, that's my single-disc bootleg Song of the South, with a crappy cover I made using a treasures cover. Only cost me $5 plus $2.50 s&h.
Bonus Features:
Hong Kong Laserdisc transfer, so no subtitles!
Interactive Menus
12 Chapter Search
1972 Television Spot
1986 re-issue trailer
15 minute Johnny Mercer Radio show (with 5 songs individually accessible)
Easter Egg - Coal Black and the Seven Dwarfs
Escapay (bored with Zulu)

Ultimatemovie4000Guy probably only spends money on DVDs. I try to do that.
