Again not entirely Australian-Disney related, more Madman. But Nausica of the Valley of the Wind has a blu-ray expected release date of the 3rd of November.

We have Ponyo and Nausica... Hopefully the rest will start creeping up on us ^_^

The packaging is changing on 'The Aristocats - Special Edition', according to the Coming Soon section at EzyDVD. But the new cover art has not been added yet.

I noticed 'Toy Story 3: Pixar Shorts Bonus Disc' was recently classified by the OFLC for a DVD release too. Sounds like a bonus disc might be offered by certain shops.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment add a few more November 2010 releases:

3rd November 2010
Phineas And Ferb: A Very Perry Christmas

17th November 2010
Toy Story 3 - Blu-Ray (BD/DVD/DCD)

Also has 'The Black Cauldron (Special Edition) ' been canceled or delayed? the movie is no longer listed on EzyDVD web site, and the entry on Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment web site still lacks specific details.

Comes out in Australia on October 20, but we've taken a bit of a preview of 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time':

Hope to do the Blu-ray soon. Hope folk are still interested in our humble reviews. :)

I noticed 'Fantasia 2000' was recently classified by the OFLC for a Blu-Ray release, so I expect we will see the Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 bundle released on Blu-Ray next year.

Last I heard it was scheduled for March but hopefully it'll be a bit sooner!

How bout Alice in Wonderland? Any news?

I'm waiting with baited breath for "Alice". Very few Disney BD's (or BD's at all for that matter) get me excited these days...only really "Beauty and the Beast", "Toy Story 3" and "Alice in Wonderland"...

So I was browsing through the Classification website and they recently classified Fantasia. I sus out the running time and it's 1190 minutes >.> which is the equivelant of just under 20 hours. I'm guessing it's a typo otherwise we got 20 hours worth of bonus features?...

No news on Alice I'm afraid :(

But I just received Fantasia DVD & Blu-Ray (but not Fantasia 2000) Australian artwork so I'm thinking Disney is rushing this forward and we'll see it before the end of the year perhaps? There's no way they'd have cover art ready if it was out in March 2011. I'm still trying to get more details :)

Any news on local Blu-Ray release of A Bugs Life? I hope it is soon, considering it is been released in the UK in December 2010.

Sounds like 2011 is going to be a good year for Disney Blu-Rays :)

I was surprised to notice another Disney cartoon series was recently classified by the OFLC for DVD releases:
Gummi Bears Season 1 Volume 1
Gummi Bears Season 1 Volume 2
Gummi Bears Season 1 Volume 3

Yep I just got confirmation from my contact at Disney that it's out here 2nd February. No plans at this stage to release Fantasia 2000. Sometimes I think they want Aussie fans to import from the UK honestly.
