Not bad, but I think Magica De Spell would have been the better fit.

Mortimer would have been a better choice for Edward too. Thinking about Minnie singing about romance with Donald is weird.

Yeah i still agree! Atleast Enchanted gets some sort of recognition! The movie turns 18 this year! They grow up so fast

Then Mickey and Minnie wouldn't end up canonically together. Also that would make Mickey the stepson of Daisy which is harder to follow than Donald as Daisy's stepson since they're the same species.

I love the Mickey characters playing different Disney roles though. My favorite storybook is Minnie and Mickey as Rapunzel and the prince. Donald and Daisy played Minnie/Rapunzel's parents and Clarabelle played Gothel.

I remember this book when i was little! Saw it in a grocery store and looked at the pictures lol. I also love the Mickey Gang characters tackling different fairytales! My favourites are
1. Prince and the Pauper
2. 3 Musketeers
3. Mickey and the Beanstalk

That Enchanted with Mickey and the gang is funny! But I agree, do Magica as Narissa and Mortimer as Edward.

Yes, I love seeing the Mickey gang in those classic stories and I wish Disney still did that but they don't even bother anymore. But I guess the issue is also that Disney doesn't do story adaptations anymore. They only like OC now maybe because they can easily insert agendas by building a whole film around it. And because older stories are less likely to be woke and will be viewed as sexist, racist, homophobic, classist, ableist, etc. I don't know but it's a shame because Disney's bread and butter was always literary adaptations. The more they stray from that, the worse their product gets.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I listened to the deleted duet between Nancy and Edward. And I must say that I was surprised. It was very different from what I`ve expected. The first part of the song was remarkably subdued and low-key, but the rest of the song was peppy and upbeat. I had expected it to be a grand, sweeping Broadway-esque tune, but the song was a departure from that. As for the quality of the song itself, it was cute enough, despite how it wasn`t unforgettable.

I wonder if they might ever try to fully record that track, as it was meant to be sung. Would be neat I think.
