I think she is Periwinkle that will appear on the fourth movie; A Winter Story. :D

(.. since Disney/Pixar have a tendency to show an earlier cameo.)
Well, I already pointed out that she is identical to Tabby, a storyteller-talent who serves as a sort of journalist in the Pixie Hollow MMORPG. I thought it was more of a nod to that game than a possible cameo. Besides, I'm fairly certain that Periwinkle will be a frost-talent. This fairy is decidedly not a frost-talent.

And atlanticaunderthesea, "A Winter's Story" is the fourth movie. "Race Through the Seasons" is the fifth. They are two seperate projects.

And it's kinda sad that Vidia is not listed yet among the casts on the fourth. :(
Aaw, she's cute.

Oh my goodness ?! There are going to be 5 still ?! So sorry to have corrected you, I didnt know !

I read that they had scrapped the winters tale and gone straight to race through the seasons, as tink wasnt as successful as they had hoped ...

Margos, you have MADE my day !! :D Thank you so much !

Well... I hadn't heard that before. Last I heard, the series was scaled back from 8-10 films to 5... unless they decided to make it even shorter.... But I really doubt that they'd skip the winter film. I thought the whole point was one for each season and then one to wrap it up now.

It just my guess, and I do have read yours about Taby.

But, I've never seen her before (that made me guess she is Periwinkle). I'm really sorry for that. ^^;

Well, I think she is Periwinkle since the name similar to Tinker Bell. (I know, it's not a strong argument.)

And I have something in mind. Is story-telling talent different from tinker talent?

Then why do she uses tinker outfit? Or it's not problem at all?

EDIT:
atlanticaunderthesea, I also found on imdb that Race Through the Seasons is a television series. (Yeah, I also have read this has been discussed as well earlier. :o)

But somehow there is no Tinker Bell on the list of the casts. Maybe they will change the voice actress or something?

No, it isn't. Here's what I mean: In the films, frost talents wear very pale blue, and tend to have white hair. They do not associate with the other talents much. Why whould Periwinkle be a brunette, dressed as a Tinker, and hanging out with a bunch of other Tinkers?
And I have something in mind. Is story-telling talent different from tinker talent?
Definitely. If you want an example of a storyteller-talent from the movies, look at Lyria. Storytellers tell stories. Tinkers invent, build, and repair. Way different talents.

Well, I don't think it actually is Tabby, I thought it was just sort of a reference to the game, because she is absoutely identical. But in the MMORPG, the Talent-based color code is nowhere near as strict. Yes, generally animal talents wear orange, tinkers wear green, garden talents wear pink/red, etc. etc, but it really doesn't matter as much. So it is perfectly acceptable for Tabby in the game to be wearing green. This fairy is most likely just an extra, nameless, background Tinker, designed to look like Tabby as an easter egg for people who play the game.

I'm sure it's a coincidence. I don't think that that series would have anything to do with the Disney Fairies film series.

It's still 5 as far as I know, only they are swapping Race through the Seasons with Winter

So now Winter ends the series in 2012 and Race will come out next year.

Odd swap, in my opinion, considering the film could have rode on the popularity of the Olympics in 2012... oh well.

That's odd, I havn't read that anywhere. I've been seeing that the Winter movie comes out in Febuary of 2011 and Race through the Seasons comes out sometime in 2012.

Yeah, I hadn't heard that either. That's just weird. I still say they ought to do a sixth that should be a sort of homage to Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens (since I always thought that a story loosely based on that book would be a good way for Tink to meet Peter).

According to Variety there is going to be a Live action Tinker Bell movie named "Tink" that is catagorized as a romantic comedy. Perhapes that will be the Tink/Peter movie everyone keeps asking for. (though personally I don't care for having Peter in the series at all)

There's also rumors of a T.V series after the movies are done.

I was about to post that in Malta the "Great Fairy Rescue" Tinkerbell film is slated for theatrical release, wondering if it's a screw-up by the local film distributors.

Turns out its isn't.

Yeah, I forgot where I read about the Race/Winter swap but it was a news site, not a forum or blog.

Well, if the swap is true then I find the situation a little weird. Doesn't it make more sense to continue the cycle of seasons and then have an overall film that will include all four? How can you have the film "Race Through the Seasons" after the "Autumn Story" and then have the "Winter Story"? Disney's logic is beyond me...

If these films carry on with the creative strength behind them as they have been, I really dont see the need for Disney to end them after 5, I really dont. I wish the slate still was 8 or so films, and not lopped off to 5.

They cut it off at 5 because the 2nd one didn't do as well as they had hoped it would.

So given that and Disney's past track record of abort if this does not end up selling as well as Disney thinks it should/coudl/would, Tinkerbell Could be the latest victim in what I call their Abandon Project early such as what happend to Narnia, Many Various TV shows on dvd etc etc.

Wow! Loved it! So cute! So that's how Lizzie learned what Tink's friends looked like! I didn't think Tink could draw with human-sized crayons, but she proved me wrong....
And I just love her facial expressions! I think it's cute that she has to do so many scenes in pantomime, it's very reminiscent of the original Peter Pan (except the only human she really talked to in that was Peter, who spoke fairy anyway). I could just imagine her saying, "No. Unicorns. Ever. Period." But it was somehow just funnier with the odd face and slow head-shake.
