And what 18 year old heading for college wouldn't love to tell stories to their elderly dog about how brave his toy from Childhood is? :P

Well, he wouldn't tell humans, would he?

EDIT: Easter Eggs!

You know what would be awesome? If Sid Philips made a cameo appearance. Like, have him look very big, fat, hairy and tough, but the minute he sees a toy he screams like a little girl and goes on a fetal position.

Hell, it would be awesome if he was the end that ended up saving the toys.

As for the trailer... I admit, I am concerned...

It looks good, but... It reminds me of a Dreamworks movie...

:jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

Yes, I just committed a sin calling Toy Story a Dreamworks movie. But look at the trailer...

- Pop culture jokes
- Poop jokes
- Classic 80s music
- Internet jokes

I, however, am willing to let this slide simply because Pixar trailers aren't nothing like the final film (Finding Nemo also had bodily function jokes and lord knows the movie is above that). But really, its like this trailer was aimed at the younger audience while the first trailer was more for the adult audience.

Remind me, which pop culture references are we talking about here?

As or the music, I suspect that music is only there for the trailer. just like the randy newman song in the other one. I mean, when have they ever used songs from the trailers in the movies themselves? think back to all the pixar trailers, haven't they always used songs that don't get used in the movie? It helps keep the music fresh when you actually see it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the Up trailer used some of Giacchino's score from the final film.

Hope this isn't too far OT or too soon to discuss, but TS3 isn't even out yet and there's rumor of a TS4 already? I'm really looking forward to this one but not sure how I feel about a fourth installment.

 No... I didn't even notice that he was a cucumber! (referring to my comment as to "Why Mr. Potato Head got all flat.") As I said, this looks like a whole lot of movie, and that trailer was a lot of new information to take in and process. I didn't notice every single detail..... (even though that seems fairly major).

And... :o Andy finding out the truth!? That could be pretty cool! But, I would preferit if he was passing on his toys to some kid. You know, the theory of him having a girlfriend came up, and I had been thinking about this, too. What if Andy Davis was dating.... Hannah Phillips!? It would be a cute way to sneak in a Sid cameo, too. :P

I think your right, but I consider a song and score different things. Im talking about lyrical stuff.

Unkrich later told THR that he still has more work to do on "Toy Story 3." The film is currently being scored, and some animation and special effects work still has to be done.
There's more info on how they made the toys, etc., in the article, too.

Saddle up for fun and let Buttercup lead your child away on a magical adventure! This cuddly unicorn features velvety-soft, snow-colored fur with sparkly gold and pink accents. He sports a signature mythical golden horn and a fun-to-comb mane and tail. Buttercup’s durable plastic eyes are both charming and scratch-resistant. Hypo-allergenic. Ages 3 and up.

how cute!

I'd love an updated character poster like that for Rapunzel with them updating the poster every week with a new character. That would be soooo cool and keep the tension high...

Well you know that what's made the first Toy Story a hit to begin with. Forget about it being the first fully computer-animated feature. As soon as Disney heard the words "Toys" this thing got a total greenlit!

Trixie's so cute! Hey... in the description it says "also available: tyrannosaurus rex." And her design is somewhat familiar.... Think Rex could be the T-Rex from that set? And, I still find myself wondering if she'll be a potention love interest for our favorite "nervous Rex." Hmmmm....

The Disney store at a local mall not too far from where I live is BOOMING with Toy Story merchandise! When I saw it with my own eyes I was like :o and felt like a little kid all over again. They had some Cars and Power Rangers stuff as well and it made me wish I wasn't 19 and in college.
