Watched a lot of movies since my last post, but to keep it updated:

Just Like Heaven- such a sweet romance. Didn't expect to *tear* in this movie, but I did. I didn't think Mark Rufallo (sp?) would be good for Reese, but they managed to pull it off. Jon Heder (Napoleon) was still himself, so that added more comedy to it. :)

Yea, Escapay, I didn't think THE BROTHERS GRIMM was that great a movie.

Last night we had a 'double feature' night. We watched:

The Transporter with Jason Statham..........then we went to the theater to watch The Transporter 2........after which we came home and watched Cellular which also featured Jason Statham, this time as a bad cop. I guess techincally you could say it was a triple feature night, but only two of them were at home.

I'm so jealous. I have wanted to watch 'The Transporter' for the longest time but whenver I knew someone who has a copy I never get a chance to see it. :(

I guess I'll have to rent it myself! (then see the sequel) I'm sure I'll like both since I'm kinda easy to please.

I've seen Cellular and it was enjoyable but the acting seemed so noticably bad in some parts.

So far this week, I have seen the Lord of the Rings Extended Editions of Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers. IMO, the best trilogy ever made. Great DVDs with great packaging and superb extras. Hopefully, in the next two days I can wrap it all up with Return of the King. :D

I am in the middle of watching Shark's Tale with my twin boys. What A complete Dud. So far I can't name anything I like so far. It reminds you that how great some of Disney & Pixars movies are.

I thinking of not watching the rest with my boys so they don't get attached to it and want it for Christmas. (And they love the fish and sharks from Nemo so I may lose anyways.)

I finished watching 'Crash'... the new one and not the 1996 movie, which I have seen before. (both are from canadians though)

I really enjoyed 'Crash' and I urge more to see it. I've heard some say it's preachy or cheesy or have other complaints but more often I hear people saying how much they enjoyed it. Now it really gets me into the mood to actually finally see the Haggis written 'Million Dollar Baby'.

Even though I was born in the same city as Haggis and went to the same college as he went to there are things he has done that just have irked me but I'm glad I put that aside to watch 'Crash'.

No way, that show is gold. :)

This weekend I saw a few more movies....

Crash - I saw it again and liked it even more. :)

Fly Away Home - I saw it again for the dozenth time but it was the first time in a while. Geese are pretty cute animals. (I don't use the word 'cute' that often. :p)

Raise Your Voice - I enjoyed it even if some of the acting was bad and the movie was so predictable.

Planet of the Apes (2000) - Everytime Is ee it I like it better and better. I have complaints about it (ex. where did the horses come from?) but it's still a lot of fun like all of the POTA movies.
I enjoy the ending a lot even though if Thade somehow made it in a pod back to Earth during Lincoln's time that raises a few qurestions...
How could he build a civilization with just himself? Did he manage to go back and gather supporters? ...and just how would Thade arriving on Earth keep the timeline so similar to the current one? (Well it could be different but a talking ape landing on Earth over a hundred years ago would radically change things and if he took over would the present Leo landed in be exactly the same just with apes?)
Ah well... the movie is still a lot of fun. :)

Oldboy, twice.

Eh... I thought it was great (the twist disturbed me though) but I don't think its a film I'd watch again, since I watched it twice. Heh.

"All in all it was just another brick in the wall." :)
My dad likes Pink Floyd and makes me listen to it. Some of it's not bad but it gets annoying after a while.

Anyways, I watch Vegas Vacation. This movie is hilarious!!!
"Changing 500!!!"

"What can I get for 5 bucks?"
"Hmmmm. Maybe buy a bullet and rent a gun!"

I just watched Breakfast at Tiffany's and Sahara. BaT was a great movie, I really enjoyed it. It will have to be added to my collection soon. Sahara was good, seemed alittle like National Treasure in some ways. Not something I would buy.
