Started to watch Ice Age, a FAVORITE of mine, but go sick so went to sleep.

Was going to watch Spirit, but realized I had bought a full screen version, ugh, so I'm going to get myself the widescreen version before I watch it again.

Troy- In my opinion it was the best Epic film since Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (But I am not including the Lord of the Rings trilogy)

Post 600! :)

This was the first time I watched this movie and I found it to be very good. Dreamworks did a great job on this one. This is yet another movie I have to get. My list just keeps on raising when it comes to movies I want to buy..

4/5
I liked it too, but it's been a while since I've seen it.

The much-loved classic, Sunset Boulevard. But I was watching most of it for the first time.

I give it ImageImage1/2 out of 4

COOOL! Us too! 8)

Well, friday night was it...or afternoon. I can't remember. We watched that movie: House of Flying Daggers! And oh my gosh! What a great movie. Entertaining. Action. and oh my word--> ROMANTIC! :D
What a sad movie though.. :(
I still found it to be great! I have yet to watch Hero, so I can't make that comparison like DaveWadding did! ;)
Hero is more of an action movie. ;) I figured you'd like HFD though all that romance and stuff.

Oh, and I just watched Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Good stuff.

Well, basically I went back into videogames.

I established in another post long ago, I somehow can't keep a balance of these 2 hobbies. Is either videogames or movies but not both at the same time.

Yesterday I went to see Kung Fu Hustle a really, really great movie. Much better than I expected.

And now, Nightmare on Elm St. 3

I just watch Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, then I'm gonna watch Napoleon Dynamite. And then I'm going to watch Meet the Fockers. I just got all of these movies for my birthday which is this Tuesday, I had to get em early cuz my whole family will be busy on that day.

 If you liked that movie, then you'll like Stephen Chow's other movie--Shaolin Soccer (already released on DVD)! Both are hilarious and have a story!

Lots to report... at the theaters I saw The Interpreter. I enjoyed it a lot- Sean Penn was at an all-time low in terms of annoyingness, which is a good thing. It's very Manchurian Candidate-esque, so if you like it (the original, don't judge anything by the sorry remake), then check this one out. I gain more respect for Nicole Kidman as an actress all the time.

I had to watch 3 movies on VHS this weekend :( (I had to watch them for class and VHS was all I could find):

10 Things I Hate About You - Unfortunately I haven't read the Shakespeare piece that this is based on, but I can definitely see his hands all over it. I really love this movie!

Clueless - This is a generational piece for those of who were between the ages of 11 and, say, 20 when it came out... I think I was in 6th grade or something like that. It's always fun to revisit.

Pleasantville - I'd always wanted to see this and finally got around to it for the first time. Wow! I was very impressed... it's been awhile since I've had that immensely satisfied feeling after seeing a movie for the first time. I'll have to add it to my DVD Wish List (which the other two are already on).

Finally, tonight was EP3 Prep Night #4, so I saw Star Wars - Episode I: The Phantom Menace. While it's definitely the weakest in the series so far, I still really enjoy it for three reasons: (A) it effectively serves its purpose in the saga, (B) it stands on its own as a good movie, and (C) It came out while I was in middle school and is an indescribably significant part of my memories from that time... my obsession with Star Wars and collecting things of it was at a level that only middle school ages can bring, and with all the hooplah going around the world about the second trilogy, it was something very special to have been part of.

*shakes head* :P

The first 20 minutes or so is... bizarre, but the whole thing is one hell of a beautiful film, my favorite film of all time to be exact.

I watched Pulp Fiction with my sister (her first viewing), I think she liked it...

Laputa: Castle in the Sky

I liked Nausicaa better myself...

Well I didn't understand anything of the first 10 minutes and it was really disturbing, so maybe I gave up on it too soon, I'll rent it again someday.

The last couple of movies I have seen were...

The 10th Kingdom (a mini-series but ah well)
The Fellowship of the Ring (extended edition)
Ocean's Twelve
Spanglish

I would list all of the movies I have seen since I posted here last but that would take up a whole afternoon of typing and remembering. :)

Did you like Spanglish, I didn't think it was that great.

I will say though, make that sandwich they give you the recipe for, I made it and it was AWESOME! Really, really TASTEY!
