Why would someone believe the movie started in 2022? Everybody knows animated movies take 5 to 6 on average to me made

I believe some were attempting to say the film was "undercooked" and that there was no way for the animation to look as good as it could based on the limited time they spent animating it (considering the minimal hand-drawn workforce).

I honestly think Wish looks bad visually, not a fan of the style, looks like sofia the first.

But I want to give the movie a chance and I'm sure the full trailer surprises me

I personally can't get beyond this:

If they manage to fix that then sure, but this doesn't look like a $200 million production and kind of insulting to the audience to release something like that.

I'm gonna be honest, this is nitpicking on the highest degree, even if I wanted to use the argument that it's a reader with incomplete lighting or whatever. Nobody is going to truly care. I especially don't, since when do we even grade disney movies, let alone animation based on that. Let's not become twitter.

On Wish co-director Fawn Veerasunthorn’s IG reel about the film’s NA press tour start in Toronto, I had asked her when the 2nd trailer will drop to which she said “soon”: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CwIyPuvM ... BiNWFlZA==.

Here’s the link to the IG reel for the question I asked and the answer it got back: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CwIyPuvM ... BiNWFlZA==.

That was really nice! Also, it's nice to see that the November 22nd release date on this TV spot further disproves those delay rumors even more. Sure, the video isn't in the best quality, but I'm sure the animation and visuals are going to look incredible to behold on a big screen.

Personally, I think the film looks very pretty from what we've seen. Only thing I've noticed is some of the background shots have an odd quality though that reminds me of Hunchback of Notre Dame, but I almost think that's intentional considering the vague similarities Asha and Magnifico have to Esmeralda and Frollo so far.

I am starting to really like the animation and character design of the star character. Can’t out my finger on why, but it’s very visually pleasing.

Looks really good, also this confirms the trailers comes out tomorrow, this tv stop is basically the full trailer cut to a spot, they normally release the trailer and then make a tv spot, so it's probably a mistake and prepared to be released today instead tomorrow

So tomorrow at the usual time (15h for West Europe) we will get the trailer

The movie looks like classic disney, looks so much like Tangled, I love that movie

Here's a version of the TV spot without the narrator's voice. Unfortunately, the quality is not better.

We got a better look at Asha's house this time. Previously, we had only seen a small image of it from an activity book Prince Kido posted. It's true that it reminds of the Seven Dwarfs cottage, as the footage descriptions said, but also Sleeping Beauty's, especially due to the water mill.

If you pay attention to Asha's mouth, it seems she's singing in that shot. I bet it's from one of her musical numbers. She's also carrying a little flag or banner featuring the symbol of Rosas. She actually has that symbol everywhere: at the bottom of her dress, on her belt and even her earrings. I wonder if it's because of the ceremony and the interview to become the King's assistant or if she always dresses like that.

And I guess the shot below in which Valentino seems to be conducting a choir of hens must be from the song "I'm A Star."

Wow, those backgrounds are so stunning. And to think that this lovely painterly aesthetic to the animation and backgrounds is what Glen Keane wanted when he was directing Tangled originally.

And now that Lassetter’s gone, we’re finally going to get it.
