taei wrote:Since the soundtrack is going to be 2 CDs, I think that we might get a lot of songs.
Or 2 Cds means one for cut songs, alternate versions, reprises ( and Menken ´ s Love can ' t be denied as a bonus

?). I'm not sure there will be so many songs. Sadly, new audiences want fast tempo, not a " Mary Poppins-15 songs- in a row"

... Or maybe double CD means a REAL COMPLETE score ( Beck´s every, every track). Have u notice Disney scores are often shamely poor !? Even for the big movies. Only 5 or 6 instrumental tracks for The lion king or Beauty and the Beast or Tangled soundtracks editions ( Well, for that last one, it was not a big loss, complete tangled score is on youtube and it´s boring to death !). On the contrary, for Atlantis or Pocahontas, u had almost more than 20 instrumental tracks ! Hope it will be like the case in that double Frozen edition ! PS : still about that Kristoff song. It must be use-less. What on earth can that mountain man have so important to express to the blasted animal ??!'n

So, the song that Kristoff sings to Sven could be the duet between him and Anna?
Because I can't picture it like:
*Opening
*Anna/Hans duet?

(Speculated by a tiny picture from a leaked storybook)
*Let It Go
*Anna's solo?

(Spectucaled by a possibly misunderstood tweet)
*Kristoff's solo
*In Summer
*Anna/Kristoff's duet
*Anna/Elsa duet
*Finale??????
That could be too many songs and PATF had that amount and 2 of them were super short.
So, I'm guessing (MINUS THE CREDITS SONG) it's
*Opening
*Anna/Hans duet?

(Speculated by a tiny picture from a leaked storybook)
*Let It Go
*In Summer
*Anna/Kristoff duet
*Anna/Elsa duet(/Finale)
(*Finale????)

A little disappointed by this version, expected something more powerful and moving but I'm pretty sure it's because the scene, I mean: it just Idina and a piano (and the nerves, reminds me of the version of I see the light in the Oscars) , hopefully, when the OST appears, it will be better.
By the way, can anybody put the lyrics of the song? my English it's bad but I would like to hear everything that she sings!
About the OST, the official tracklist in this moment its:
* Opening song (Can't this be Anna's song?)
* Let it Go
* In Summer
* Kristoff / Anna song
* Kristoff song to Sven
* Elsa and Anna duet
*Credits song
Still missed the classic reprise of the main song, I think it will be Let it Go or the sister's duet.

Well, here we have the the lyric of the song that appears on the video! :
The snow comes falling on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation
And it looks like I’m the queen
The wind is howling
Like this swirling storm inside
Couldn’t keep it in
Heaven knows I’ve tried
Don’t let them in, Don’t let them see
Be the good girl you always had to be
Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know
Well, now they know
Let it go, let it go
Can’t hold back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door
I don’t care what they’re going to say
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway
It's so beautiful, can't wait!

PeterPanfan wrote:I love Idina Menzel, but that performance sounded kind of off to me. Maybe it's just that her voice has deepened a bit over the years and it's not what I was expecting. Like someone else said, it doesn't seem to fit a young animated character singing.
Her voice sounds weird probably because its live and the recording mics are not that good.
I'm sure that she'll sound so much better in the movie.

But who is the guy?
Hans, Kristoff?
I want a great romance, not something stupid like Hans and Anna "love at first sight"
Kristoff and Anna!

Hans goes into the castle?Imagine how fucking hilarious Elsa's reaction would be?She would try to use some deadly power on Hans,but she gives him a light slap instead because she doesn't want to hurt him.

I listened to Idina Menzel sing 'Let It Go'. It sounds pretty cool right now, I'm hoping the final product sounds dynamic. Like, 'No Good Deed' or 'Defying Gravity' dynamic.

I would have to hear the entire song, but I think it's okay. A tiny bit on the bland side.
In related news, I love that Bobby Lopez tweeted this:

Counting the hours till @AIMenken and Richard Sherman concert! It's the real reason we are here! #D23Expo

She's a little pitchy on some notes, but I really like the melody so far. I think once it's combined with the animation of Elsa creating her ice palace, that it will really register more, much how the lantern animation really enhanced I See the Light in Tangled, though so far I already think Let It Go is a superior song. Looking forward to this moment in the film.

Obviously, it's hard to tell from the shortness and low-ish mic quality, but I think I'll actually like Let it Go
way more than anything from PatF or Tangled. Heck, probably more than any songs Disney has put out in that last decade.
Also, this is
just Idina and a piano. I can't magine how great the final song with animation will be, as well as the other musical numbers.

Even more than the oscar-winning "We Belong Together"

Goodness, was really underwhelmed by this ... sounded like there were bits of the song that were getting there, but never quite made it. I'm sure it will sound a lot better in the film etc.

SPOILERS AND THE PLOT OF THE FIRST ACT ARE HERE:
http://micechat.com/forums/d23-disney-t ... rozen.html
All I can say is that the opening number is exactly like
Fathom's Below with the harvesters, singing about a frozen heart
